The food is average but the service is superb. We have been to all sorts of restaurants of all levels but the waiters /waitresses here are so nice and go above and beyond. Just wanted to do a shout out to Mike (from Ethiopia ) and Anna who provided such a wonderful experience for my family on Valentine’s Day. They were so thoughtful and exceeded my expectations for the level of customer service I was expecting . Highly recommend for a low key night with a welcoming staff

We actually stayed on site at the hotel and came down for a late dinner. Wilherning J. Was very attentive & nice. She made us great drinks, top shelf. Chef Neka served my guy a 5 star salmon dish w/mash & a rich slice of berry cheesecake. We enjoyed our dinner. Great staff.

In town on business and I decided to give the restaurant within my hotel a try and OMG, I was blown away. Everything from my waitress, Rosemary to the chef were AMAZING. The attention to detail and the food were hands down the best ive ever experienced at a restaurant inside of a hotel. I highly recommend you checking them out, even if you arent staying at the Sonesta. I had crab cakes as an appetizer, the chef let me sample the grilled oyesters and lets just say I’ll be back tomorrow for them. ANNNNNNND the shrimp and grits had a surprise twist embedded within the grits…collard greens!!! 10 out of 10!!!

We were there for a college tour weekend. German at the bar made our nights so fun! He is personable, attentive, super funny and knowledgeable. The drinks he suggested and made for us were spot on! Can’t wait to be back there in 14 months when we move our son. German you better be there!!!!

My family and I ate here today and we had the worst experience. The food was extremely poor quality, it had no flavor. The mashed potatoes tasted like water. I had a “ribeye” it was very thin, was tough and had no flavor. The service was also poor, the food took over an hour to come out and the service was poor overall.

A resturant in chaos! Many of the great reviews were with the previous management which is no longer the case in 2024. In February we paid the grill a visit and our first mistake was to be seated as the only patrons present. The service was good but only 50% of the food was edible. We wrote a detailed letter to Sonesta’s home office but never received an acknowledgement. What a surprise – what a shame! Unless their situation has been corrected, be aware if you plan to pay a visit.

Went here a couple weeks ago and it was great!! Atmosphere was perfect, everyone was really nice. It was such a chill evening and we enjoyed it so much. German, the bartender was top notch! Super attentive, funny and personable. We will definitely be going back!

Ashley is a surprisingly great server. Very attentive to a captive audience and able to verbally soar with anyone. Very pleasant. The good is good for this type of company arrangement and the staff is attentive and caring.
