Amazing prices and food was excellent. Large portions, beautifully decorated. The entry way needs a little love, but overall it was great. I got the fajitas and my friend got a pepper stuffed with Mexican cheese and deep fried. That was different and delish. Quick service. Bring a friend.

This was so good! The smell alone was amazing.
First – the quesadillas. Delicious. They added some sauteed onions with the chicken and it hit just right. The tortillas were also cooked to perfection.
Second- the cheese dip. I’m usually not a fan, but this was so good. I’m lactose intolerant, but I risked it all. You could see the blend of cheeses, and the ingredients were fresh/ high quality! It also came with a sizeable serving of chips which were, no surprise, also great.
Finally- the apple chimichangas! These were my favorite. I was very surprised that they provided 2- and with a side of ice cream. Genuinely some of the best dessert I’ve ever had, and I’m not always big into sweets. It was like apple pie, but better. There was a delicious cherry drizzle to top things off.
They provided a lot of side sauces and salsas to choose from, in addition to napkins and plastic untensils.
I highly recommend Las Leyendas!

First visit celebrating with my family. Read recent reviews which were favorable. Being we were meeting my son halfway between his place and mine we decided to try Las Leyendas De Mexico Boonton out. The service was excellent, professional and food delicious.

Totally impressed by Leyenda! Great value for great Mexican food. Great portions for the price! The Churrasco (pictured) was very flavorful and tender. My colleague ordered the shrimp tacos and really enjoyed that too. Beyond the food which we fully enjoyed, the restaurant also serves a number of non-alcoholic beverages which I did not personally try. The restaurant even has their own parking lot! If you’ve ever been to the area you’ll know how important parking is.

Waited about 35 mins for food to come and saw other tables that ordered after us receive thier meals first.
Mediocre tasting Mexican food. Ordered the chicken Burrito and the flavor was lacking. There was more rice & beans than chicken inside. The dish itself looked unappetizing with the burrito covered in shredded lettuce. I only continued eating it because I was starved and I dont like to waste food.
The Gucamole was all right. Not sure why 2 avocado pits were left in the Molcajete. The salsa had no flavor.
The beef chimichanga stated on the menu that it was spicy beef. The beef looked liked it was boiled with no seasoning and there was no flavor let alone spice.
Would not come back here again.
Beware no alcohol is served.

We had a fantastic experience! I ordered the Molcajete Macho which was incredible! I haven’t had Nopales since Mexico and it was excellent grilled. I had to get Horchata to handle the heat of the Diablo sauce but it did the trick and was very good! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
