Dojo Ramen in Regina was absolutely fantastic!

Ordered the steamed pork belly buns and spicy ramen! The pork belly was so delicious and the steamed buns were so soft and some of the best that I have ever had! The ramen was full of flavour and had a good kick to it! I love the ambiance and decor, especially the sushi cat, that you can see if you zoom in on the last photo!

Only in Regina for the week, but I think I’m going to need to come back here again!

A dining experience this delicious and memorable deserves a 5 star review. I took my son here and he commented on how amazing the atmosphere was. The service was friendly and prompt. But the food was the star. We sat and really took our time savoring this amazing meal. Delicious broth great flavor and huge portions. We will definitely be back.

First time going here, lovely little restaurant, very charming, really tasty food, and the nicest staff. They were very accommodating of my newly discovered gluten sensitivity and respectful with it also. I can’t stress enough how much you need to try this lovely little place. Gluten free ramen was very satisfying ❤️ my husband enjoyed their regular menu items and really liked the bulgogi steamed buns.

Bao buns had an insane amount of mayonnaise. They brought me noodles when I asked for a rice bowl. The meat portions are skimpy. Ordered beef satay which tasted boiled/sautéed and not grilled. Definitely not worth the high prices.

Save your money and don’t come here. First time trying and I won’t be back.

Food: The ramen is not worth the $19 price tag. My family tried 3 different flavours and all of them lacked flavour. They use easy soup bases like miso, shoyu and spicy, which don’t require many hours of boiling like tonkotsu soups do, and still none of them came close in flavour to ramen I’ve had elsewhere. The 1 piece of pork belly on top of the ramen had no flavour at all. The appetizer Korean soy glazed fried chicken was covered in a salty sauce and the chicken was dry inside.
Service: The employees seemed to lack basic training. The hostess sat us down but didn’t mention that we had to scan a Qr code to look at the menu online. The Qr code was a very small piece of paper on the table which was covered by a flower decoration. We had to wave her down and that’s when she told us to scan the paper and asked if we needed a paper menu. After our meal, the hostess came to clear our ramen bowls and she thought it was a smart idea to stack together 2 ramen bowls with soup still inside. Of course when she lifted them up the soup poured all over the ground and onto my fathers jacket. Instead of apologizing and checking on the fathers jacket first, she was more worried about mopping the floor.
Parking: Difficult to find on street parking. I think there is an impark on the other side of the street next to a bar.

Great food. Big serving of Ramen, not bland at all. Korean FC is good unfortunately we didn’t expect the kaarage to be like this (super tiny chicken pcs) but the flavor is there. Sushis are fine though something’s lacking.

Love everything about this place! The pork belly steam buns are MONEY. The broth for both the miso ramen and the pho is packed with flavour. And the best part was the service! So kind, attentive, and fun to be around. The recommended tequila drink was delicious. We can’t wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I came here for brunch at 2:00 PM, and it wasn’t very crowded. The atmosphere here is very cozy, the service is polite and warm, and the food tastes good.

Miso Ramen ($19): This ramen has a very light flavor with lots of vegetables, not very greasy, making it a great choice for the start of the day. The two slices of chashu are very thick and substantial.

Spicy Ramen ($19): The spicy ramen has more red oil and a lot of kimchi. The flavor isn’t overly spicy but is saltier than the miso ramen. For me, I prefer spicy ramen, and the two large, thick slices of chashu are very satisfying.

Braised & Fried Spicy Pork Ribs ($16): The seasoning is really delicious. It’s not the usual barbecue sauce ribs, but rather has a more Korean flavor. The sweet and sour taste blends well with the ribs. This was my favorite dish of the day. The ribs are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, easily fall off the bone, and are very flavorful. This dish goes well with drinks.

One thing to note is that the chashu in the ramen is quite fatty. Although it doesn’t taste greasy, those who are not fond of fatty meat might want to ask the waiter for substitution options. The waiter highly recommended their Korean Fried Chicken, which we didn’t get to try today, but it’s worth a try if you have the chance.

I hit up Dojo a few weeks ago for lunch and it was amazing! Everything was super fresh & tasty and the room is very cool! Great spot in Regina & can’t wait to come back to visit. This is a great addition to downtown Regina and looking forward to coming back for dinner next time I am in town.

The waiter needs to improve customer service. He told us to sit down and didn’t explain if there was a QR code or a menu. He asked us what we were going to order and I had to ask for the menu at that moment! He’s not friendly either, which makes it a bit uncomfortable to be there. The place is nice and has a good location, even though the available parking is in the public parking lot.

The food was good but not spectacular either. I wouldn’t know if I would recommend it.
