Tried Bubbakoo’s Burritos in Bensalem and I’m honestly a little unsure about this location. The food tasted fine, but the portioning was really weird.
My bowl was almost empty on the rice, like the way it was being scooped/fillled didn’t make sense I actually had to ask for a little more rice, which surprised me because rice shouldn’t be that tight for the price. I’m not a big meat eater, so I didn’t even mind the lighter meat portion, but it still felt off overall.
I also got the birriadilla and it was mostly cheese with barely any meat, which was disappointing. I was coming home from work and tired so I didn’t want to make a big deal, but I left feeling like the value wasn’t there for what I paid.
I might give Bubbakoo’s another try at a different location, because the concept/menu is good, but this Bensalem visit wasn’t it.

For my first time in here, I openly admitted to needing a little time to decide. I was originally going for a burrito, but then I saw what one looked like after it was made, so instead I went for a “bowl”. At this point my grading scale is, Bad as QDoba or Good as Chipotle. This bowl was pretty good. Lettuce is a bit wilted, Chicken was drying out, and the beans began to harden due to exposure. My order came with Chips that were a bit on the stale side, and a small pot of watered down salsa. (Don’t ask for the salsa.) The overall flavor was good and enjoyable, and the portion was decent without me having to ask for, “a little more”. Would I go back? Yes. Was it better than Q-Doba? Definitely. 7.75 out of 10.

I went in to pick up an online order. All the workers greeted my son and I with smiles and were ready to help. The male working behind the counter ( seemed like a supervisor ) was extremely nice. We even left with a cookie. My 2 year old was ecstatic. Food was great, we will be returning customers for sure.

We planned ahead with reservations after a friend recommended this place. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed, with multiple groups waiting for tables, always a great sign. The four of us shared several entrées, and everything was excellent.

This is the first time eating here. My husband got a quesadilla and two burrito bowls. I was so impressed. Much better than chipotle or similar places. Our son is a very picky eater and loved the chicken quesadilla. Anytime a mama can feed her kids and they love it is a big win! Definitely will be returning.

$11 for a bowl is kind of ridiculous. I got white rice, ground beef (one scoop, that’s it), vegetables. Originally they said $10 but since I used my card they surcharge me. Businesses that surcharge customers are not ones who should be trusted. I will not be back. Chipotle is a lot better quality for the price

I NEVER review places but me and my husband go to this location alot and really enjoy the food but the last time we went had completely changed our feelings about this specific location. Their were 2 employees we have never had before and when making our bowls (which usually so big i have more then half to save for the next day) they where putting half scoops of everything and we had to keep asking for them to put the whole amount on. It was anything expensive like meat, quaso cheese or guacamole we were asking for extra of, we didn’t even want extra, but just the right amount we always receive. I probably received a tablespoon of corn and salsa in my bowl. And the employees got annoyed that we wanted the right amount instead of half scoops. I can say that IF we return to that location and that’s a big IF we will not order if these employees are there.

Tonight was our first visit, and my wife and I were genuinely impressed. Everything was freshly made, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend the spicy chicken burrito—absolutely unreal.

We decided to try the food. Extremely disappointed. Food quality was low, and lacked flavor. Food seems to be highly processed, and had very limited flavor. Guacamole had no flavor and was ultra processed, very thin. Tacos fell apart, very soggy. For the low quality, prices are high. Menu/ordering can seem confusing. Unfortunately will not be returning. Quite disappointing.

I finally tried this spot after hearing great things, and I’m so glad I did. The Birria Dilla lived up to the hype—crispy, cheesy, and incredibly satisfying. Definitely coming back for more.
