Got the combo with 2 sides – orange chicken with white rice , sides were crab rangoon and an egg roll . A fortune cookie was included . They gave me sauce for the rangoon , and when I asked , they had my favorite packets of duck sauce ! I paid around $13 with tax .
Very similar to the food of The Golden Bowl in Barrington , RI which unfortunately closed , recently ( this post written 11/11/25 ) .
SO tasty . Orange chicken was crunchy , tender , and sweet , crab rangoon was the perfect amount of sweet , crunchy , and some crab flavor to frying perfection , egg roll had nice , umami flavors in it and a nice crunch ( eat it quick or it loses some crunch as you let it sit ) . If you ask , they’ll give you extra sauce , napkins , and plastic utensils .
Left over food reheated well the next day .
Plenty of parking .
Yes , lady who helped me had a thick accent and too the point , but that’s how you know the food is good !
It’s a takeout Chinese food place – don’t expect a glorious atmosphere cuz it’s not supposed to have one . NOT gourmet food , this is QUALITY TAKEOUT FOOD !

I ordered in person for a lunch special with Pork Fried rice and Orange Chicken. The pork fried rice has small pieces of pork with yellow rice while the orange chicken is more on the sweet side. They give a good amount of food for about 10 dollars. The crab Rangoon is good like all the Rangoon’s crispy with cream cheese inside.

1. I explained that my daughter has an allergy and ordered specific items without that ingredient. When I received the order it was all wrong. They charged me $28 more than what they said on the phone, when I asked why it was so much more they told me that they do not update the online menu and the prices went up. When I called about the food mix up the woman told me that is not her problem and to speak more clearly. I asked to speak to a manager and she hung up on me. I do not usually leave reviews but I was so upset that instead of just sending the correct order she blamed me, and even after paying $30 more and giving the delivery driver $10 tip as it wasn’t his fault, she then treated me so rudely. I will never order from here again. After speaking to multiple people they have told me that this is a common thing with this company. Luckily, parents of children with food allergies check everything thoroughly because it could have been much worse and I am grateful it wasn’t. Shame on the people who work here. Kindness is free!

Ordered the Generals Tso Chicken with chicken finger. Everything was good except the pork fried rice. It’s probably the way they make it. I’m use to the soy sauce flavored fried rice. This was not soy sauce flavored. Rice was yellow and you can barely see any pork in the rice. They should make it Cantonese style or hong Kong style.

Quantity was large. We ordered dinner combo with veg low main. The portions were big. We could not finish the food. If you are really hungry go for this place.
We ordered sesame chicken, Schezewan chicken, General Tso chicken from combo menu. We also order mei fun. All food was good. Reasonably priced. lady in the cash register had thick accent and at times it was hard to understand.

Don’t believe the negative reviews! First time getting pick up. Ms. Lucy was quick, to the point, and nailed my order and pick up time (10 minutes from phone call to take-out). Will 100% be ordering from here again! General Tso chicken, pork fried rice (no onions), and egg drop soup is perfect!!!

I came to this location on my lunch break, Tuesday, 16APR2024. I ordered the large hot and sour soup, 2 vegetable rolls, and the sesame tofu for $24.10 total after tax.
I am an avid enjoyer of Chinese food, so I can tell when I get some incredible Chinese food and some generic, bland, frozen food. Bamboo house has delivered quite possibly the best Chinese food I have ever had at a price point to justify their generous portions!
The food was SCORCHING hot in temperature, well seasoned, and brought out in only 15 minutes. I was absolutely amazed by how tasty this food is. The veggie rolls were freshly fried with the thin crisp of a golden, flaky crust encapsulating juicy, hot veggies. Sesame Tofu was textured and firm (my personal favorite) and well adorned with sweet and sour sauce, topped with crunchy sesame seeds.
The hot and sour soup came with those crunchy won ton chips, and had the perfect ratio of egg, vegetables and nice flavor; not too spicy but not watery.
Couldn’t recommend Bamboo House enough for their incredible food, at a reasonable price that was freshly made to order in 15 minutes or less.

Honestly, great American Chinese. I received exactly what I was expecting and wanted. Got a decent sampling, beef teriyaki is good, dumplings are decent, soup was good. Everything I had was good actually and it was ridiculously fast. And pretty cheap. I just moved to the island and this is definitely the best Chinese I’ve had so far. Will be returning.

The food is good , prices are ok but the woman who answers the phone to take your order is the rudest woman I have ever encountered when ordering takeout. She made me order 40$ worth of food to deliver to me . I called back for paper plates and she told me they don’t have any and not to call again since I already called. This wasn’t the first time she was so rude to me , I will never order again. Don’t advertise delivery then act and say I have to order more to get it delivered. Rude woman
