Everything is frozen and either deep fried or microwaved from what I could tell. Tempura shrimp? More like frozen breaded shrimp that has been deep fried. Everything was disappointing.
I suspected as much when I looked at the menu, too long and broad. For a little place like this that can mean just one thing – it’s all frozen (likely off of the Sysco truck) and then microwaved or deep fried.
The Tom Kha was insipid. No herbs, galangal, etc. Just highly sweetened coconut milk. Yuck! Get this soup at Sabai Sabai, it’s the real deal.
Seriously, you would do better at Panda Express. High volume, made fresh from real ingredients. Everybody jokes about the Panda’s lack of authenticicity, but it is gourmet compared to this place. Stay away at all costs.

I placed an order for egg foo young, and specifically asked for no vegetables. Someone from the establishment called me to confirm. I replied yes no vegetables. I received my delivery and you guessed it vegetables everywhere. Not just a regular serving, an excessive amount. Make the dish in edible. Completely ruined my dining experience for the evening. I guess the chef’s no better than the customers. Thanks Mr K’s I guess I’ll settle for cereal.

The customer service was amazing, very nice and helpful. I ordered the beef with brown sauce that came with white rice. And a shrimp egg roll. The food was hot and delicious. I will be back for sure.

I and from the Prince George’s County area where we have a carry-out on every corner. Since moving to the Rockville area, I haven’t been able to get that experience until I visited this place. The food was great and staff was so sweet. I accidentally left my keys behind and they kept them waiting on me. I can’t wait to come back!

Well, I’ve ordered a total of 3 times from this spot. I’ve gotten the Pad Thai Chicken (little bland), General Tso’s chicken (sadly, no chilis), & the Basil Rice w/ Veggies (very tasty).
All of em are pretty good, but my go-to is the General Tso’s chicken (ask for extra spicy version), which isn’t spicy at all.
It’s pretty darn tasty and worth a try

My far one of my favorite places. I’m in town from NC and the first place I brought my boyfriend was here for some good pho and Chinese food ! Sometimes we don’t have back in North Carolina.

While the food quality may be good, time management is terrible. On more than one occasion, whether it was a pick-up order or delivery, I had to wait 3 hours or more for two items. Tonight was no exception it took 4 hours to receive my order. I was told 3 different reasons as to why my order hadn’t been delivered and was completely ignored when I asked for a refund. It’s s unacceptable and by the time the food arrived it was cold and we were no longer hungry. I will never come back to Mr.K’s I wish them the best and hope they figure this all out soon.
