Layne’s Chicken Fingers just had their soft opening in Missouri City and they absolutely crushed it. The line was long, but the crew moved everyone through quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality or service. The chicken was hot, fresh, and full of flavor, and the milkshake was delicious and the perfect way to wrap up the meal. Huge props to the staff for handling a packed opening day like pros. Excited to have Layne’s in Missouri City and will definitely be back.

Otae was really helpful. He took the time to explain a few items on the menu. Love Layne’s it’s always so flavorful and delicious. Dorris was very polite. The food is greatly seasoned (I got the spicy option). If it was plain then the Layne’s sauce would be perfect for the tenders. Then fries were crisp, fresh and little salted. The toast is tastes is good as well. But most of all the employees made a great impression on me with very welcoming and helpful attitude.

The food’s flavor was ok. The fries were hard and they advertise 2 sauces but you only get one. So I paid for the 2nd one you see in photo. For $12.09, I feel like these fingers, are tiny fingers. The sauce is good though. The lemonade is on point also. Friendly service.

It’s Saturday after 11pm, you’ve had Whataburger all week, and Taco Bell just isn’t hitting? Go to Layne’s.
Now I’m gonna be honest with you: there is about a 100000% chance you will be peeing out of your butt later. But in the moment? Absolutely phenomenal. No complaints whatsoever while the food is happening.
The funny part is everyone I’ve ever talked to about Layne’s says the exact same thing. It’s always some version of:
“Man that was incredible… but uh… I didn’t feel great afterwards.”
Some people even get into graphic detail that I did not ask for.
Maybe they’re doing something different at this location. Maybe everyone I know just has weak blood. I’d like to believe that’s not the case.
Either way… worth it.
