Just had one of the craziest experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. Eating here… For one, this is the only restaurant I know that sells flounder fillets cheaper than tilapia, didn’t trust that. So I went ahead and got two-piece tilapia with four shrimp and fried rice instead of fries… Total ended up being just under 20 bucks. I get my food and there’s only one filet on the plate.
Ask the lady. I thought I ordered a two-piece and four shrimp? I was told the cook in the back forgot to cut the filet in half but it was a two piece filet… Doesn’t make a a lick of sense to me, we all know restaurants do that to save money… It’s just different whenever you’re given one filet and they straight up tell you they forgot to cut it in half to make it a two-piece lol… All in all food wasn’t that great, I guess their menu quantities are a lie, good luck at this but cuz I won’t be coming back ✌

great food excellent service – hector is very friendly and attentive. my first time here. the sweet tea is the best i’ve had in a long time. They make their own cocktail sauce from scratch and the only charter sauce on scratch and onion rings from scratch. I got the fish fried fish and my friend got the fried shrimp with fries and onion rings and mine came with fries and coleslaw nothing was one bit greasy it was hot and fresh perfect seasoning the shrimp was good taste very fresh and the fish was good. They even have a real lemons for your sweet tea.

Honestly the shrimp was not cleaned right, and they were really overcooked. Some were tiny and some were a bit larger ??
Fries.. were soggy, and not salted or seasoned?
I really wanted to like it . And enjoy it like the other reviews but I didn’t like it at all 🙁
Also in comparison, the burger that my cuz ordered looked hella fire . So why not change the sign to burger shack?

The atmosphere is lackluster but the food is good! Ordered the grilled flounder & 6 shrimp with fried rice, hush puppies, onion rings & 12 fried shrimp with fried rice. It was a good & cooked fresh! The shrimp were cleaned well, which you don’t always get. The music was SUPER loud, so we had to basically yell our orders, but the lady taking the orders & running food was nice & we chatted about my ear piercings for a minute. All in all, the Google search of “food near me” paid off with this one!

Just had the Grilled and Seasoned Flounder with Fried Rice and Coleslaw.
This was an AWESOME meal! Deliciously flavorful. (I asked for seasoning as I like spicy food – The owner cheerfully adjusts the seasoning if you ask.) The portion was huge! The Fried Rice is incredible! (And you get a double helping – EVERYTIME!) The Coleslaw is a meal by itself! (But, unless you ask, you only get a small amount – Coleslaw Lovers – HERE is the place to get it!) Normally, coleslaw has an aftertaste but NOT this one! It’s homemade and has it’s own special receipt and OMG it’s WONDERFUL!

I give Captain’s Seafood FIVE STARS. It’s earned it!
New owner – who really goes all out for his customers – and he’s done a great job of bringing this restaurant back to life: he’s repainted, cleaned, and updated everything; and, created the most fantastic food you’ve ever tasted.
The prices are ridiculously low and the servings are HUGE. Here is a restaurant where you can eat cheaply, AND, get a large meal that TASTES so darn EXPENSIVE! Definitely, ABSOLUTELY, well worth the time to come here!

Went here for my first time with my mom because we were craving convenient, fairly priced seafood and it was less than a 10 minute drive away, so why not? The place is a lil scary on the outside, but don’t let that stop you from going inside! It’s cutely nautical themed, the bathroom was really clean, and so was the restaurant (as soon as we walked in, I saw the workers cleaning and it made me feel really comfortable.) we ordered the specials with fried fish and shrimp! The rice side was our absolute favorite, and the fish weren’t fishy and held excellent flavor. The batter is a little heavy for my girls who get full fast, so if you’re looking to not take something home, I’d go grilled! The customer service was so lovely and the sweetheart behind the counter took very good care of us. We will return!

This is a great hole in the wall spot. How about shrimp, flounder, or a cheese burger? All great and reasonably priced. 4 people in and out with drinks for 30.00. And great service from wonderful people. Lots of parking and easy in and out. Go get it.
