Endwell Taverna is a hidden gem that delivers everything you could want from a great neighborhood spot. The pizza is absolutely amazing — perfectly crisp crust, rich sauce, and high-quality toppings that show real attention to detail. Every bite feels fresh and flavorful. The service is consistently good too — friendly, fast, and welcoming without ever being overbearing. You can tell the staff takes pride in making sure guests have a great experience. The beer selection is solid, with a nice mix of local brews and classics that pair perfectly with their pizzas and small plates. The atmosphere has a casual, comfortable charm — ideal for grabbing dinner with friends or enjoying a laid-back night out. Whether you’re coming for a quick bite, a few drinks, or a relaxed evening, Edwell Taverna hits the mark. Great food, great service, great vibes — it’s the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to.

All’s well here, so yes it Ends well here! I fully enjoyed my visit here. This is a cozy upscale Italian inspired restaurant. Everyone working here was friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks are top notch. I especially love their cocktail called “you’re turning violet, violet.” I had to have two. The food was fresh, wholesome, and delicious. The three of us sampled each others food orders. Everything was delicious and plated beautifully. My only regret was not leaving room for dessert. There’s limited seating, but its still a great place to unwind after work with friends or even date night with that special someone. You may want to get here early if you do not make reservations. Reasonable prices for quality.

One of my new favorites. It’s always so hard to choose between their specials and their pizza! Love the staff and management. They actually care that you enjoy the overall dining experience.

Very fun renovated place featuring delicious pizza, pasta, wine, and chicken piccata! Staff (bartenders, management, and servers) has always been welcoming and friendly. Happy Hour drink menu with complimentary chickpeas is available every day they are open which is awesome. Columbia is lucky to have Endwell!

Inimitable Italian spot near the heart of downtown Columbia. Both the service and menu are firing on all cylinders.

The ricotta cavatelli was aromatic with the sweet corn adding a balancing sweetness. The porchetta secondi was packed with flavor; the pickled banana pepper cutting through with its acidity. Don’t sleep on the pizza though, that crust will transport you.

A medium sized upscale restaurant serving perfectly crafted family recipes and impressive drinks.

Everything we tried was delicious.

We waited approximately 30-minutes for seating for our group of four on a Sunday evening. I believe the wait is worth it.

Nice staff.

Due to the size of the restaurant, tables and layout, I would recommend for groups of only four or less.

We went for the first time last night and everything we had was great! The pizza was cooked perfectly and the crust was really good. I brought home leftovers for my son, and he said it was the best pizza he’s ever had. My husband ordered the Gnocchi alla Romana and it was delicious! A member of our party is gluten intolerant and our server did a great job explaining which dishes were gluten free and which could be modified to make them gluten free. I’m excited to have a good Italian restaurant in town! We will definitely be back!

Update: I’ve been back several times for lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. They tend to be very busy on weekends so I recommend making a reservation if you don’t want to wait. I’m adding some additional photos of some of the things we’ve ordered.

Perfect spot! Great food, amazing staff. They went the extra mile for my boyfriends birthday and even had a card signed by the staff ready at the table when we arrived

Had a first-rate meal and service here last night. Ventured out to a peach pizza, that’s right, peach pizza and some tiramisu. Pretty incredible stuff; pizza was the best we’ve had in Columbia and the best tiramisu in a decade for us. After 3 years we’ve finally found our go-to place!

We had dinner at Endwell Taverna tonight, a new Italian spot that just opened in downtown Columbia. My husband and I dine out almost every night, so we know the local food scene well. It’s always been strange to us that good Italian food was hard to find here, so we were super excited when we heard about Endwell Taverna.

Usually, we wait a couple of weeks before trying a new place, but we couldn’t resist and went tonight, even though it’s only their third or fourth night open. I’m happy to say it was a fantastic experience!

The service was top-notch, especially our server Bella, who was amazing. The menu had lots of great options, and everything we tried—from starters to desserts—was really, really good. The vibe was cool, and the stylish bar will be a great addition to downtown Columbia.

We even took a moment to tell the manager, Sam, how much we enjoyed everything. We wanted him to know they’re doing a great job and to keep it up. We’re thrilled to finally have a great Italian restaurant in Columbia and can’t wait to go back!
