★★★★★ A Herrin Gem with Delicious Food and Great Service!

Joe’s Pizza and Pasta in Herrin is an absolute must-try! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a welcoming atmosphere. There are plenty of tables, and a spacious dining area in the back is perfect for larger groups or when they’re busy.

Our drink orders were taken and delivered lightning fast, a great start to the meal. The food orders followed suit, arriving in a timely manner, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my Pasta Primavera – it was piping hot and absolutely awesome. Everyone else in our group, who ordered a mix of pizza and pasta dishes, raved about their food as well.

The only minor drawback is the street parking, which can be a bit scarce if you don’t arrive early. However, there’s a convenient lot just around the corner that’s pretty close, so it’s a non-issue once you know about it.

Considering the fantastic quality of the food, the efficient service, and the reasonable pricing, Joe’s Pizza and Pasta is truly a standout. I’ll definitely be returning for another fantastic meal!

Located conveniently near Herrin hospital. Great food, clean environment, friendly staff. Love their sweet sauce! We had their new Parmesan Bites appetizers (waitress recommended) and the Joe’s Deluxe pizza. Both were fantastic! Did not disappoint. A+++

My friend and I ordered take out, I ordered Fettucini Alfreado and he ordered Pasta Primavera. Both salads, had only one slice of cucumber and one little cherry tomatoe, not much of a salad, but this is the only reason, I gave it a 2 star; at least the lettuce was fresh. My pasta tasted like something that had been left over from the night before and reheated. Pasta was mushy and the dish was so dry (no sauce). Same with the Pasta Primavera. This is twice I have ordered to go and got the same results. Why is it that if you go in and seat down to eat you get better results? I guess it doesn’t matter that you are still paying the same price and expect the same quality of food and service, that they think you will just keep your mouth shut. We paid $36.03 the name of the person who took our order was Emily Lehnhoff, but I am sure she was not the one that prepared it. It is sad to have been served such a low quality of a meal. Oh and by the way my garlic bread was burnt and my friends breadsticks sounded like a piece of wood breaking when he tried breaking it into. This is a pathetic way of treating customers.

Today my sister was in from out of town so we brought our elderly mom out for dinner to her favorite restaurant. Food was great, but Makenzie our server was terrific, by far one of the best waitresses we have had in a very long time. Super sweet, and very attentive. Keep up the great work.

I will start by saying that when we dine-in at Joe’s, we never have any issues. But delivery is a different story. They have fixed issues we’ve had in the past (delivering the wrong food/pizza) with no issue. Tonight, we ordered delivery and the delivery driver forgot a drink. Not a problem; I called Joe’s and they credited my account for the missing drink. But then we starting eating. Half of our food was cold (again, not a huge problem, we can microwave) but I found a staple in my meatballs. At first I thought it might be from the bag, but the receipt attached to the bag still had the staple in it. It is frustrating for Joe’s to be so good for dine-in but so disappointing for delivery. Plus, the staple is very concerning. I hope they figure out a better delivery system going forward.

Pictures really does it no justice, and my waitress was absolutely amazing. I’m from Texas and prior to coming in I met a lot of not so nice an friendly folks. She was a breath of fresh air to say the least, the food was Amazing as well. Highly recommend coming here if you are within a 50 Mike radius.

Stopped by Joe’s on a recent visit back home to see family. We were a party of eight and the staff quickly cleaned and pushed together tables on the main dining room. The other option would have been a private area in the back of the restaurant, which I’d recommend if you have a big party—and call in advance to reserve it!

The little ones in our group were entertained with Joe’s Kid’s Menu coloring sheets. We started out with a delicious bruschetta appetizer that was covered in fresh tomatoes and great for sharing. The kids snacked on an 8” cheese pizza, served with stuff breadsticks.

On to entrees. The pizza: we got deep dish. It was crispy on the outside and covered with gooey cheese and fresh tomato sauce. It’s A LOT of food, and you’ll be full by the second piece.

Sandwiches. Also big portions. The Italian sausage was the standout—one of the best items we tried. The Italian beef was pretty standard. Juicy and flavored perfectly. Don’t be afraid to swap the fries with fried green beans!

Pastas: cooked perfectly and covered with house made sauces, fettuccini or tomato. I loved the angel hair, it wasn’t too heavy and was far from bland.

The service is quick and professional and the space is comfortable for a date night or a family affairs like ours. You should check out downtown Herrin’s newest spot!
