I went today (9/6/25) for my birthday and had a great experience. The place was very clean and the food was amazing. Since our food was delayed, they kindly brought us free appetizers, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff was very nice and caring, and they even surprised me with free pudding for my celebration. I truly appreciated the service and will definitely be coming back!

Wow! This place was awesome and gets a 10. The only thing I didn’t like was the paper napkins because the ambiance was so beautiful and they had real silverware. The food came out immediately, nice and hot. Our waiter was awesome, the place was clean but small. My husband and was in awe with the food, and the amount of it. He had the salmon and shrimp which didn’t disappoint and I had the catfish filets, Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes which gave me a homey feel. This place was great and gets 4.8 stars and we will be revisiting it again.

Went to Soule to Soule and ordered the surf and turf pasta with shrimp and lamb-chops. The food was delicious! I also ordered the southern sweet tea and the cornbread they brought was very good too. This is my third or fourth time eating here and I have yet to order something that wasn’t delicious! Highly recommend and the playlist was hitting!

I’ve been wanting to try Soule to Soule for a while and it exceeded our expectations. The jerk shrimps were a perfect app to start – good blend of spice and shrimp cooked to perfection, then we tried honey drizzled chicken which was crispy and tender and fried catfish, the crust was super crisp and not oily at all! Selection of sides was fantastic – mash potato and cream corn were my absolute winners. The restaurant is cozy and quite intimate set up, the service was good and staff took good care of us. Thank you for hosting us!

Soule To Soule serves some of the best New Orleans-Cajun style cuisine here in Chicago. I was amazed at their food choices as you can’t go wrong with any of them. The service was great as our server was friendly and attentive to our needs.
Fried catfish 4/5: The fried catfish was fluffy and light upon each bite. The breading is a bit different in terms of how crunchy the catfish was. The Louisiana hot sauce goes with to add that nice kick. The fried catfish comes with two sides. I ordered the asparagus and collard greens. The collard green is on point, very flavorful and well seasoned. The asparagus was pretty good too.
Catfish sliders 5/5: Perfect serving size and portion. After eating two of these sliders, you might be feeling full before the main entree. Each bite was pack full of delicious catfish dressed in a yummy sauce.
Make sure you make a reservation as this restaurant is pretty tidy and cozy with limited space.
