One of the best bowls of pho in town. I would recommend stopping by for a #13 (small) and an iced coffee. The pho broth is rich and salty, and the strips of brisket are really nice. The service is also very fast and friendly.

I met a friend here for lunch today.
We both ordered the same thing, combo rice plate with egg roll, 2 giant fried chicken wings and a pork chop! I also wanted to try their jackfruit shake with boba!
The meal came with soup and salad. The soup was flavorful, a tad salty for my taste but that’s just me. The jackfruit shake was the bomb with the exception of the bobas, which was a little bit hard on some bites.
I really like this combo. The eggroll was pretty big and tasty. The chicken wings were crispy goodness. The pork chop was just okay for me.
I would come back here again to try the pho and get me some more jackfruit boba , hopefully the boba would be better.

Pho tasted great. Overall, it was a good experience. They give a lot of food and really quickly. Food literally came in less than 3 minutes. Definitely recommend getting the beef balls cause I’m typically not a big fan, but these were fire.

The food was okay but not great. The place was kind of empty so there was lots of seating to choose from. We ordered the pho and a plate of grilled pork chop with fried egg. The flavors were good and it was just enough food for us all. I would have to complain a bit though at how gross the tableware was. It seemed like they’re was a film of sticky/greasy filth on everything. Even wiping them with a napkin didn’t help. The nastiest bit was touching the handle of the knife to cut up my pork chop. It was really nasty to the point I had to use a napkin to hold the handle. Yuck. Aside from the cleanliness, I would day the food was good if you are craving vietnamese food and you are also shopping in the mall. By the way. There aren’t many shops left in the mall. Guess the rent is too high.
Update 1/1/2023. Came back here with the family to eat some vietnamese food. The family ordered the usual Pho, but I decided to try something new. I ordered the BBQ pork & Shrimp vermicelli and it was pretty delicious with the sauce mixed that came with it. The noodles were just right (not too hard and not too soft) it had a good bite to it. The pork and shrimp were well seasoned, but the shrimp were on the small side. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy and overall the food was really good.

For the price of 3 Big Macs you can get 4x the food in half the time. Also, it’s delicious.

Really good bowl of pho…especially during this chilly weather. Broth had a nice deep flavor. Bowl had plenty of meat and noodles. Really filling, decent prices, worth a return visit if I’m in the area.

Pho Saigon II is perhaps one of the last honest noodles houses in the Bay Area where the price is affordable while not sacrificing on quality and quantity.

BEST COMBO PLATE IN THE EAST BAY
Great standby Vietnamese food including pho, in a cafeteria environment, with quick-service and good prices. The vermicelli combo, and the combo plate number 53 are to die for. Place is highly recommended!

CC accepted, decent Pho, ordered large and the size is smaller than other Pho places. Good portion of meat and noodles. Fast service.
