For a year I’ve watched video’s of people stopping in to eat at The Salty Pickle, now I know why. Today I absolutely had the BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH I’ve EVER had, Chic Fil A nah, Popeye’s no way, SALTY PICKLE far and away the very best. Bun was fresh, Chicken breaded and cooked to perfection, fresh lettuce & tomato, served with 1000 Island dressing. This place is a DEFINITE stop even if you’re going by the 5 Fwy, we’re stopping every time we go through Coalinga from now on. Also picked up a BLTA to go, again, sourdough roll real good and fresh, lots of bacon with avocado. Got fresh watermelon instead of fries, next time I’ll be trying them. Oh yeah, last thing, get the Strawberry Lemonade, you won’t regret it. 5***** Thanks guys see you again soon!

Pretty good sandwich! The pickle was OK. Restaurant was cleaning and inviting, but the food was a bit expensive. Hope you like Jesus music because that’s all they play in there.

It was quiet when we went in for a late Friday lunch, but I could see it getting rowdy at night. The food was great, and the guys running the place were super nice. Burger and chicken sandwich were delicious. It’s a worthwhile side trip from I-5.

Ordered at counter & food was delivered to our table. A great hot dog always makes my day, hubs said his Philly was really good.
Plenty of indoor seating but no outdoor seating, little dog left in car so this would not work for us on a hot day.
