Wow, great place in florala. I don’t know much about the staff but I believe it to be almost entirely family owned and operated. The service was fantastic and the food is great. It’s also in a beautiful section of time and welcomed both locals and tourists alike.

Definitely a great place to stop by for a quick bite to eat.

Nice place to eat on the way home from the beach. Didn’t want fast food, so this place really hit the spot. Porrk was a little dry, but my husband had the brisket, and it was delicious. Would eat here again!

Located in Florala on 5th ave, I ordered brisket but was told sold out so o ordered a pulled pork sandwich which was ok not great. Homemade hot bbq sauce was runny and just ok. Sweet sauce was Memphis style. No Brunswick stew. $45 for three people. Better reviews and menu variety than Depot which is another local restaurant

A Florala, AL native recommended this dining establishment and were we ever glad that we listened!
Every dish that we’ve tried there has been really good, but the smoked brisket is out of this world. Generous portions, perfectly smoked and wonderfully seasoned. Best brisket I’ve had outside of Texas without a doubt. You order and pay at the cash register then sit down, enjoy some tea, lemonade or coffee and in a short time a server delivers a plate heaped with good food. The prices are reasonable, nice atmosphere and the restaurant is clean. Very enjoyable to eat there.

We had bbq and a burger… to say we were disappointed is mild. The bbq was old tasting and the burger was so dry it was miserable. We won’t be back and we try to support locally so this is sad. When we got up to leave not one of the 4 works even spoke . Not small town hospitality

We just love this little restaurant/ice cream shop. The brisket is hands-down the best I’ve ever had.

I took my grandson in for ice cream a few days ago. The atmosphere was great, the staff was awesome, the price wasn’t even too bad. The one thing I feel they could improve on is the ice cream selection. They only had a few flavors. No rocky road,, nor brownie bits in any of the choices I get that they sell other food, which I wasn’t aware of until my visit, but it IS an ice cream shop. I was hoping for at least a FEW choices other than the usual flavors of strawberry, chocolate & vanilla. They had maybe a total of 8(?) including the 3 mentioned. I will say that the ice cream was fresh & a nice portion (we had the waffle cones) & I will def come back again. The ONLY disappointment was in the lack of ice cream selection.

Had been coming to this place for years, went tonight to get me and the wife supper and after I picked up our food and got home we open our plates and my wife’s hamburger had no meat. So when I went back to get it fixed there was nothing but a bunch of girls sitting at the table and I’m guessing one of them was running the place, there was no greeting when I got there or no sorry when I opened the plate and showed them what they forgot, one girl just laughed and took my plate and went to put the meat on it, the only sorry I got was from the cook who said “sorry I must have been distracted” and that was it. The girls”workers” just sat at the table and continued talking amongst themselves about boys, as I overheard the conversation. Use to be a good place but now is ran by kids and they don’t care or have any professionalism amongst them. Sad really, use to be a good place to eat.

This is what a 8.95 club sandwich with fries and a flat soda looks like turn into 17.00 dollars after the drink and fries. Try to support local but this is ridiculous.
