We had a very unsatisfactory experience with this baker through my employer this week. We ordered a cake for a coworker’s farewell party. The cake was not what we expected for the price of $60! My manager was very unhappy about the money we spent from our budget for this. The flavor was so-so, nothing to brag about; the frosting was grainy and sugary, not smooth at all. Plus it was not very “neat” looking. The layer of frosting on top was so thin that you could see the cake through the frosting, even though she stated there was two layers of frosting. There were cracks in the cake at the top and bottom. The wording was wrong, and I had to wait for it to be fixed, and wasn’t happy with the look after the edit. I did not even receive an apology for the mistake. As a matter of fact, the owner/baker was rather rude about it. We won’t be recommending her or ever using her in the future. I don’t like to leave bad reviews and try to support local business people, but in this situation felt it was warranted. You can judge for yourself if it’s a $60 cake from the pictures I’ve added.

Cindy Rose is the most creative baker I have ever seen. She made the best PBR birthday cake for my husbands birthday I have ever seen. Had a suspended bottle of beer pouring out on the cake. It is a sure joy and pleasure watching her create tasty art.

Pretty cakes, a little dry, but the set up crew did not leave cake boxes for after the reception, making an already busy day even more difficult trying to take the cake down. And $75 for a cake stand is a little steep…for that price she could come take it down herself.
