I would give this restaurant a barely average at best, and only because the owners were very friendly and prompt with their service. The restaurant itself is set up like a takeout counter, fairly dark inside without many places to sit. The food was underwhelming; while well seasoned, it didn’t have the char or flavour you’d expect from wok cooked Chinese food, or ‘”wok-hay”. The sweet and sour pork was also from a poor cut, with lots of white inedible bits of cartilage used to fill out the portion size. Overall, I would expect this level of food quality from a small town establishment where you didn’t have any other options for Asian cuisine, not one that’s survived in Aurora for so long.

I pretty much always get delivery for my orders, but every time we order, the food is perfectly prepared and delicious every time! The delivery is on time, every time and leftovers of Mei Ling’s food do not last long in our fridge! Best Chinese food I have ever experienced!

I have never ordered from here because I usually order Mr. Moon.
But I wanted to try another place so I ordered from here.
I am so glad that I did because everything was sooooo good.
Everything was fresh & crispy, and I didn’t feel that sickly full feeling, which is probably from msg.
So I don’t think they actually use that which makes everything so much better.
Also, the prices here compared to others are much better than other’s, even though they are making great quality food.
This is definitely my new choice of Chinese food in Aurora

The first time we came here, the food was decent since they don’t have many Chinese restaurants in Aurora, which is why we decided to give this restaurant another try. Unfortunately, that was a big mistake. The second time, the food was absolutely terrible.
The fried rice was burnt, and the meat had an awful, off-putting smell. The vegetables were completely different from what we ordered and felt randomly thrown in just to make the portion look bigger. Overall, the meal was bland, lacked flavor, and honestly was one of the worst we’ve ever had.
On top of the disappointing food, the service was poor. They do not allow dine-in apparently because the owner “doesn’t want to clean tables.” We were not provided with any utensils or sauces unless we specifically asked. For the price we paid, both the food and the customer service were extremely disappointing.
I also noticed that the menu photos don’t match what they actually serve, which is misleading. It makes me question how this place has a 4.1 rating, as many of the 5-star reviews do not seem genuine and fake engagement.
We will not be coming back ever, and we will be warning our friends and family to avoid this restaurant. This place seriously needs to improve it’s food quality and customer service.

Spent over $50 on delivery takeout from Mei Ling and they forgot to give 2 rice orders.
We only got 1 rice. Someone here didn’t want to share rice so my dinner was completely ruined to the point I didn’t eat my dish and the entire dinner got ruined over a side rice order that got missed.
The food is good but they caused such problems.

Spent 100 on food here and they couldn’t substitute out chicken. I told them of the food allergy I had and they messed up and said I wouldn’t be able to get them unless I repaid for my food there again. So mad and upset. They’re cheap. If I could give a 0 on this I soooooo would. So rude! I don’t know what restaurant doesn’t correct their wrongs in a mistake like this but they were fast to try and get off the phone. Never going back even those that was the place I would go to all the time. They just lost service from repeated customers to their lack of consideration. Even gave them a tip and they did this.
530 ordered… said wouldn’t be ready for pick up by 7pm and made us wait til 745pm to get the food… 15 min ride home just to realize they messed up. So furious.

I’m a child, I live in Keswick. My phone battery died. I was in Aurora, in her restaurant. I went inside and plugged it in to check my bus route. She told me to leave if I hadn’t paid for food, that it wasn’t her problem. She had paid the bill it wasn’t for people to come and charge their phones there. It was around 8 PM. SHE SAID ITS NOT Her problem! THE SERVICE WAS SO BAD !!
