Staying at the hotel next door and the first thing I noticed at long john silver was the bad attitude of the older petite lady behind the counter. I was stunned. As I sat and waited for my food I noticed how gentle she treated the next 3 customers. ordered the baked meal with 2 sides and 3 crabcakes. When I got back to the hotel it was fried not baked and missing crabcakes. I don’t think these kids are taking their job seriously. Also I don’t think it was worth $20.68, I should have went to the chuck wagon next door that parking lot is full.

Fish was fresh and hot. Slaw was nice and cold. Green beans were very tasty. Best Long John Silvers that I’ve been to in years!! Older building but very clean. Staff was so friendly! Will stop there again when traveling I-70 through Illinois.

The food tasted good but I was incredibly sick after eating here. Essentially everything is fried so I should not be surprised. I hadn’t eaten here in years and after eating here I remember why. Most of the food was stale, particularly the hush puppies.

I give this place a 0 stars. I was not greeted and the cashier was very rude. Also when my order came up it was placed on the counter and I was not called up to get it. After 10 minutes of waiting I walked up to the counter and asked was the order sitting there mine and the young lady said “yeah” after which she turned and walked away. The restaurant was not very clean as well as I noticed one employee scratching her head in her hair and continuing to serve people and not step away to wash her hands.

Ordered a chicken & shrimp platter but got fish in place of the shrimp. Took my plate back to the counter and told them about the mistake. They fix me shrimp and brought it to me. I ate 2 shrimp and noticed it didn’t taste right. I peeled off the batter and found all the shrimp was still half raw.. When I took it to the counter and showed them 2 employees just looked at it and never said anything. No “sorry” or anything. I told them I was very unsatisfied and still got no response. I walked away with nothing on their part.

I always forget about Long John Silvers because it is located in a different area than the rest of the fast food restaurants in town. It is delicious but it is also very greasy so I don’t eat there often. Once in a great while. I like their chicken and their fries with vinegar.

The fish here was excellent on our visit! We had to wait a bit for it but the wait was well worth it. This Long John Silver’s does it right! Great fish and fries.

I waited over 15 min in the drive through for my food. When I got it my add on wasn’t there. Had to wave my hand to flag somebody down while they were all talking. The food was good but the service bad.
