Very Poor Service. This was the first time ever going to China Garden, as I usually go to Ever Green. And will only go to Ever Green after this horrific experience. First, they said it will be 30 minutes for my carry-out order to be ready for pick up. Evergreen, like every other Chinese restaurant is usually 15 mins, but maybe there were swamp with guests who knows. Also, since I wanted fried rice, they require a completely separate order that i needed to make. So I had to pay for fried and white rice. That was a first, usually they just upgrade the white rice.
When I arrive there were chairs blocking the entrance and nobody in the dining room. I arrive at 8:45pm and they close at 9:30pm. So obviously they do not want the business. But I processed to move the chains to get in the restaurant to get my food as I was hungry. I quickly paid and took my food home because they obviously wanted to go home early on a Saturday night. Once I got home I notice they had forgotten put my order of Crab Rangoon in the bag. I’m sure it was an honest mistake but from my so far bad experience it did not surprise me.
Now, I give every establishment a chance to redeem themselves from poor service as stuff happens and I want to give them a chance to right the wrong. All I asked was a refund of the Crab Rangoon and a new order of it for my trouble. They only offered two eggs rolls for my trouble, thats it. WOW. Bottom I knew I should always stick with Evergreen for my Chinese food.

Ordered the Beef Lo Mein tonight, which is ALWAYS my go to at any Chinese restaurant and boy I’ve NEVER tasted one like this.
All it tasted of was peppers it was so over powering and it had mushrooms. Now I order beef lo mein because I am not a big vegetable eater so it became unedible and decided I could at least eat the beef… this is it after I picked through it.. minus the two pieces I ate when trying it

After moving to the area, many people had recommended China Garden to us. The price was a little higher than I wanted to pay, so we didn’t get around to ordering until a couple weeks ago. My reaction? Well, the price is not cheap (not ridiculously expensive, just not cheap), but the flavor and quality of the food is excellent and well worth the cost. Chinese takeout can tend toward the same tired flavors, and things taste as if they’ve been sitting around too long, or re-heated too many times. Not so with our experience at China Garden. The flavor was great, and ingredients tasted fresh. I highly recommend them if you’ve got an itch for Chinese food.
But the main reason I rated them as high as possible is due to their customer service. We ordered delivery a couple weeks ago and somehow our order arrived without one of the meals (4 of us ordered). I called them up and explained what happened, and without question or debate, they apologized and promised to make a new meal and have it delivered as soon as their driver returned. Not more than 15 minutes later, the doorbell rang and I had my meal. For a business to recognize their error and just fix it, no questions asked, as quickly as China Garden did, earns my respect and continued support.

I have eaten here twice now, I absolutely love their food. It’s some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. It tastes like real chicken! I’ve done delivery and pick up each time it was extremely easy and the employees were extremely courteous. I highly recommend eating here. And you can’t beat the lunch prices with the amount of food that they give you it’s amazing.

We have been going there for many years. The food and service have fluctuated, but for the past 5 years or so, the food was great, and kept us coming back. Tonight must have been an off night. It was a Sunday after 5. The soup and rice were barely warm. The rest was ok, but not their usual. The egg foo young was NOT in patty form like it is at other times and anywhere else you go. It was also burned. The hot and sour soup tasted like vinegar. I’m sure we’ll be back, but this time a bit disappointed.

The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. We ordered a big custom order and everything came out perfect. The food was amazing! Best sesame tofu I’ve ever had. The food was made pretty fast too. This is 100% going to be my new regular chinese food stop.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! I have never been disappointed with the food. My favorite is the orange chicken with egg drop soup. It’s cozy – a good place for a date or a group of friends to get some good food. The service is always friendly and I’ve never had to wait too long for my food. The servers are starting to recognize me…I think that’s a good thing
