As a sushi lover , this place is honestly one of the best I’ve been to.
Everything was super fresh, especially the raw fish, you can really taste the quality.
We tried a variety of sushi and all tasted really great, The sashimi was really good as well.
Great selection and the place was clean, which I always appreciate.
They also offer alcohol-free wine and beer, which is a nice bonus.
Definitely coming back.
I recommend trying “salmon lovers” it was our favorite.

Best sushi in the area. So delicious, so fresh, so tender. Excellent service, nicest staff. The waitress recommended sauces to our order. Perfect match. They also were very nice with our dog, what is very important for us. 10 stars! Strongly recommend:)))

I did omakase with Chris and he definitely did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and fresh and most items had his own unique flair I haven’t encountered elsewhere. I think several of his creations deserve a permanent place on the menu as appetizers or special nigiri/ sashimi. The shishito peppers were really delicious, perfect combination of delicate spice and rich flavor. The baked mussels were way better than I thought they would be, huge flavor and perfectly cooked. The only downside I could mention was that they were out of uni (my favorite), but he more than made up for that with everything else! Highly recommend! I shall be back this week! Enjoy!

Cute sushi restaurant with amazing selections. There was so much, I didn’t know what to try. The presentation of the sushi was beautiful and the server was very friendly and easy to converse with. I really enjoyed the shishito peppers. Overall, it’s a good restaurant on 2nd St with outdoor seating perfect for people watching.

Favorite sushi place on 2nd street. Customer service is always top notch and the sushi is consistently incredible. It’s a local gem. Their updated menu is fun and with the times but I’ll always recommend to talk to the sushi chef and get their recommendations. Regardless of what you order, you can not go wrong here.

Sushi Ai is really really good, happy hour all day, I love the happy hour choices good sushi! I try to come by once a week, hot sake and a Asahi on draft. Happy hour menu has changed a bit but still good deals. Sushi always taste fresh, and the service is always very nice.

If you love garlic, get the spicy tuna tempura ….. it’s amazing ! Lobster lover ? Get the chubby lobster , it’s also amazing … love salmon ? Get the baked salmon roll . The quality here is very very consistent, one of my favorites spots

It makes me really sad to write this review because generally I like Sushi Ai! The sushi is fresh and the prices are good. However, the service I received tonight was not good at all. It took forever for anyone to take our order and we even said twice that we were ready but nobody came over to help us. Then it took forever for the food to come out. We had all finished our meal and my mom still hadn’t received her food. Even two orders of rice were extremely slow and we had to remind the server that we ordered them. Eventually, we asked the server to take the tempura off the bill since it had taken so long and he flat out ignored us! We had to flag him down again just to have a real conversation with him about the service.
I will still give them a second chance because like I said, I usually like this spot! But unfortunately tonight just didn’t cut it.

Incredible service. Unmatched. The first place I go when I return in town is here. Best blue fin, aji, and ju toro. Don’t forget the fresh Wasabi!
