We waited 20 minutes to get our drink order taken. We got our beers and then had to wait another 30 minutes for her to take our order. We ordered the captains platter which is the most expensive thing on the menu and two appetizers. 30 minutes later the main dinner came out with one potato, not two. No extra plates to put the crab leg shells on or split the steak. Ordered the steak medium and it came out rare. Then they appetizers came out and they were both cold. Ordered a Coke for after the beer and didn’t get it till the third time I asked. I complained to the waitress but still had to pay the whole bill. I wasn’t paying for that service so I left no tip. Got an email yesterday and they took a tip out any ways. DO NOT RECOMMEND

We had a nice lunch there today. My wife and I both had the catfish fillets. I had Cole slaw and onion rings for my sides. My wife had a baked potato and Cole slaw. The potato was a little old, but okay. The sweet tea was very good and the pretzels with beer cheese we had as an appetizer was great.

Awesome catfish and fixings! The catfish is perfectly seasoned and fried. The cole slaw, hush puppies, and fries are delicious. Attentive servers take care of you and the food came right away.

The Steak was excellent! The Garlic Butter was To Salty for My Taste so I scraped it off. Fries Lacking and Cold. Cole Slaw was Good but not enough of it. Fried Shrimp was Excellent. Im not a Big Drinker but the Beer was Good, I only Drink about a 1/2 a Glass. The Appetizers were very Good, Fried Pickles and Fried Peppers. Steak Fries would have been better with the Steak not String Bean Fries. The Place Looks to be still finding its Theme but Nice and relaxing. The Wait Staff was Forgetful on what You ask for. Concentrate on One Table at a Time Get more Staff on the Floor that can focus on the Customers. The Wait Staff was very polite and Nice. Also No One wants to Go eat and and Get Hot while Eating or relaxing so maybe some Fans or something. Music Good.
I dont remember what all My Family ate but I know they enjoyed the Food. Like I said the fries were not so there. Need a Steak Frie and not a Steak and Shake Frie! I would definitely go back. MAX’S PLACE Could be really turned into something big. The Name is Right. Yeah, definitely ho back.

We ate there today Oh My Mrs Angie cooked the steaks just perfect they were so tender and good all of the food was great and the waitress were awesome too our wait time was less than 30 minutes it was all Great we will be back and the prices are very reasonable too
