I ordered a tea and simply asked for an extra lid to properly cover it. Instead of a professional response, the staff member bluntly refused in a rude and dismissive manner right in front of me. No explanation. No courtesy. Just attitude.
If there’s a charge for an extra lid, say it clearly and respectfully. That’s basic customer service. But refusing with arrogance over something so minor reflects a serious problem in how customers are treated.
As a paying customer, I was not asking for charity or anyone’s personal property. I was making a simple, reasonable request. The lack of professionalism and basic respect is shocking.
Management needs to seriously train their staff on how to speak to customers. Businesses don’t survive on products alone — they survive on service. If this is the standard of behavior, don’t expect customers to return.
Despite complaining to the cashiers or the owner, the conditions don’t improve. They just dismiss your concerns and many people have complained several times.
Look at the rat in the video in the grocery section, do you really want to eat here and bring your kids here? Even showing this to the owner didn’t change anything, the restaurant just continues to be nonchalant about it.
0/10 would not recommend
We were among the first customers after opening, so freshness should not have been an issue. Good food is important, but good hospitality matters (which cant be expected may be from students working there) just as much, and that was completely missing.
As customers, we just expect to be heard and treated respectfully. Hoping the management takes feedback seriously and improves quality and customer service. What goes around comes around – karma always balances things.
I ordered flavored rice through Uber Eats but received sambar rice, which is a completely different item. I also ordered roti pachadi, and instead of offering a replacement or correcting the mistake, the item was simply canceled.
When I contacted the restaurant to resolve this, the first front desk staff member was extremely rude and unprofessional. She spoke disrespectfully, interrupted the conversation, and disconnected the call abruptly. When I called back, my calls were ignored. When I asked for her name, I was given irrelevant explanations and was made to feel as though I was at fault, even though the mistake was clearly from the restaurant.
There was no empathy, accountability, or basic customer courtesy, and the same response was repeated without any effort to understand how upsetting the situation was for a loyal customer.
Eventually, I spoke with another staff member who was polite, well-mannered, and apologetic, which I do appreciate. However, the overall handling of the issue and the initial behavior I experienced were unacceptable.
Mistakes can happen, but customer service and respect matter. This experience has seriously affected my trust as a long-time customer, and I hope the management addresses staff behavior and order accuracy moving forward.
I had ordered MULTIPLE ITEMS, yet the staff showed zero customer courtesy. The service was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I would rate the service 0/10. The two girls working near the register counter during the January 9th 2026 at 10:05 PM shift were especially rude. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place unless they hire staff who respects their customers.
The place can get quite crowded and noisy, so it may not be ideal if you’re looking for a calm family dining experience. You can eat there as a family, but be prepared for the rush. I’ve mostly tried their tiffins and enjoyed them a lot. I did try some of their curries as well, but they weren’t as impressive to me.
Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re craving good South Indian tiffins and don’t mind a busy atmosphere.
