I hadn’t been to this place in five years, but it’s just as good as I remembered! I ordered the Churro Oreo Ice Cream Waffle and the Cuban sandwich with fried cheese—everything was delicious. The service was great too; the guy working there was super nice. Honestly, this is the best food truck I’ve ever been to!

Took a cruise out to Kauhuku to check out this beach bus and see what the hype was about. It is located near all the other food trucks. Ordered some of their food and desserts. Also had their freshly squeezed lemonade, and it was pretty tasty for me. Kids loved the mozzarella sticks. Waffle sticks were okay. The bus burger was good. It was like every other burger, nothing fancy. Spicy chicken burger was spicy, but for me, it was like there was something missing to that spice. Loaded fries and nuggets with fries were okay. I think the best dish there was their deep fried cheesecake. It had sooooo much flavors popping in our mouths that we really enjoyed it. Also, I had the corn with everything on it, but my daughter didn’t like it. It was too dry and lacking flavors for me since I had to eat it all. Lol Would I come back? Definitely would just for those deep fried cheesecakes #SupportLocalAlways

I cannot even begin to say how good the food is here. I’ve eaten here 3 times on my trip and completely went fat kid and tried a much as I could. The food is made well and full of flavor. The people who work here are warm, welcoming, and friendly as they get. I met amazing people while I was here the first time and made lifelong friends. The owner came out and sat and chit-chatted and was so warm and kind. If you want good food, good people, and to eat way too much great food, this is the place.

Hidden gem! Really awesome Oreo waffle on a stick with Nutella drizzle and homemade vanilla ice cream. Loaded fries are the bomb, flavorful, and very fresh. Also nothing beats super friendly service. SUPER nice staff!!!

Ty’s Beach Bus is located on the North Shore of Oahu in Kahuku, HI in the food truck village near the Kahuku Sugar Mill. This fun lunch spot, complete with a couple of picnic tables, offers a limited but tasty menu of beach food favorites such as hamburger’s, chicken sandwiches and hotdogs. it also offers sweet waffles and churro’s. We tried the chicken sandwich and the churro with ice-cream. Both were pretty good. The service was great and the environment cannot be beat.

Came to Ty’s Beach Bus because of the food trucks at Kahuku Sugar Mill area. I ordered Kahuku Corn and Shaved Ice. I found ants in my shaved ice. Yuk. The tray for the corn leaked oil from the bottom. Causing me to wear my shorts with oil stain all afternoon. Not happy.

I recently visited the Beach Bus food truck in Hawaii, and I was thoroughly impressed. The guy running the truck was incredibly nice and super helpful, making the whole experience even better. The menu, while not offering an extensive variety, had great options that were well-curated.
The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly, which is always a plus. Although the prices were a bit on the higher side, it’s understandable given that we’re in Hawaii. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I’d highly recommend giving it a try!
