We’ve been here many times and it has always been great. The food quality is just as good as Peppercorn’s Kitchen across the river, but the atmosphere is a little more upscale. So far everything we’ve tried has been excellent.

Also of note is the two separate sections. They have a “front” section where there are some “family style” tables and Chinese decor, and they have an “American” section where there is a full bar and contemporary American restaurant decor and music. Both sides serve the same thing.

Cozy atmosphere. The food is great, the portions are good. Our server was Mike and he was Awesome. Very attentive without being overbearing. Will definitely be going back.

The food is delicious. The staff speaks in both English and Mandarin. They have a very lovely atmosphere and great food. The color theme is in black, white, and red. I love how much space they have. The restaurant has both tables and booths. Really nice bathrooms too. All my Chinese friends say this is still one of the only restaurants in town that has almost authentic Chinese food even though they recently changed some of their menu items to make them more American it is still good.

We have always enjoyed coming here however this evening was not enjoyable. The food is always good, providing you have plenty of time to wait because the service is ALWAYS bad. Tonight was worse than normal. Had to ask a waiter if we could order drinks after waiting. Then we had to ask to place our order. They gave our food to another table when it was ready. One hour later, they realize their error, and made our food. Brought 10 minutes later and would not discount. Not sure we will be back. I can get great Sushi other places. 2 wait staff and 6 total tables of guests. Service should have been much better.

The sushi was great but the service was extremely slow. They prices are a little high but half price rolls twice a week make it manageable to try. Our server was quite friendly and tried her best even though it was slow. Ownership has change recently, so maybe things could improve after management gets settled. I will definitely visit again and see if changes are made but only on a Wednesday..

Food was fantastic! Visited with my wife to watch a friend and his band perform in the back room area, not sure what they call it. Atmosphere is very relaxed and decor is calming after a long work day. Staff was very fast and attentive, though a slight language barrier does exist, no biggie. Food was delivered fast! Will definitely be revisiting in the future!

Literally one of the best sushi spots I have ever eaten. I am not from IN and was doubting the freshness and quality of sushi in Midwest, but I was pleasantly surprised! Amazing selection of special rolls with fresh fresh fish! And 1/2 on Monday and Wednesday’s on all sushi! cant beat it!!!! Best sushi in Lafayette!

This a trendy Chinese restaurant with many Sichuan dishes that cost over $20. I was a bit angry at first because you don’t usually see authentic places charge that much. But I realized authentic places can’t charge that much (especially Chinese places) because…well, I don’t know why…there’s usually not a demand for it. So why not have a trendy AND authentic restaurant? Why not? All the authentic dishes I’ve had (duck tongue, camphor-smoked duck, hot and spicy shrimp, salt and pepper shrimp with shells on, and stir-fried green beans) were really good. I haven’t had any of the American-Chinese food; you can get that stuff anywhere.

And don’t let the 18% service fee (i.e., mandatory gratuity) scare you. The service is excellent and the food comes out quickly. Don’t feel obliged to tip the typical (minimum) 20%. Just feel at ease paying the bill as written.

The food is delicious and I love the half price sushi nights! But we came to sit on the patio and have some drinks…turns out they lost their liquor license and even though it was a beautiful day our waitress would not let us sit on the patio. That was very disappointing along with the fact that it took over an hour to get three rolls…

Arguably one of the best sushi places in Lafayette (and there are a few for a small Midwestern town). I would give it five stars. However, the service is questionable while the food is always good and every once in a while they bring you a check with the gratuity already added. Not a huge deal for me. I just find it a little sketchy. While the miso soup is good avoid the salad. It’s essentially glorified lettuce.
