The Detroit style Pizza is a unique find on LBI and it was good. Thought the smash burger hamburger was small for $9. Indoor seating is dark and drab. There are three tables outside, but lots of noise on LBI Blvd.
Still worth trying if you have not had Detroit style pizza.

Had a great meal at Queen City Crust! We had a half burrata half hot honey roni and it was insanely good! The crust was crispy and the toppings were plentiful. We also had a double smash burger which was fantastic. Great experience all around and even had the chance to talk to the owner, Troy, who was a very hospitable and friendly guy. It is clear to see he loves what he does and pours all of his energy into building and making his business better. Big shout out to Troy for making some of the best pizza LBI has to offer. We will definitely be back!!

Came in to try their traditional Detroit style pizza after hearing some nice reviews and we were not disappointed. We planned on trying a few slices but they weren’t selling any so we went with a full pie with pepperoni and sausage. Pie was ready in about 15 minutes and we sat outside and enjoyed it. The square pizza met all of the requirements for a Detroit pizza, thick crust lined with extra crispy cooked sides, a nice but not overwhelming sauce, proper amounts of good mozzarella, nicely cooked crispy pepperoni and a just okay sausage. At the counter they had spicy honey oil if you wanted to add, which I did on several of the slices.Totally enjoyed this pizza and after having had pizza from several of the other establishments on the island, I will choose this one as my go to pie when ordering out from now on.

Some of the best Detroit style pizza I’ve had in New Jersey! People say the Jersey shore doesn’t have a lot of good pizza, but they have not been to this place!

I got pepperoni, plain, Burrata next time I will get something more adventures like the Buffalo chicken but my friend and I inhaled all the slices on the way to the car! Also Tried a single Patty Smashburger.

Fantastic pizza! Super crispy cheesy crust topped with the best tomatoes, burrata and fresh basil. First time here today, we’ll definitely be back to try the other pies!

SOOOO good! We got a half plain half pepperoni. 10/10 recommend! The dough is fluffy and airy, the tomato sauce is fresh, and they serve with fresh basil. Only feedback I have is I wish the pepperoni cups were a bit thicker, similar to prince street pizza in NYC.

Walked in and ordered, customer service was fantastic. They had only a few styles but we tried the pepperoni with hot honey and Four cheese. Both were amazing. The crust was light and bouncy and they was a cheese crust around the edge which was a great touch. Would absolutely come back again to try more styles.

When it comes to pizza, I’ve always been a thin-crust person. I’m not into heavy dough or deep-dish styles at all. That said, yesterday I tried Detroit-style pizza for the very first time at Queen City Crust and WOW. I don’t have other Detroit style pizzas to compare it to, but it was hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, which is saying a lot.

At first glance, it looks like deep dish, but the dough is nothing like it. The inside is incredibly light and flaky, almost like the texture of a perfectly baked Italian or French bread, while the outside is unbelievably crispy without being burnt. The sauce is fantastic too. Not sweet, just a perfectly balanced, straight-up tomato sauce.

The only downside? The pricing. We ordered half plain, half mushroom, and the “mushroom” side cost an extra $4. Price aside, the problem was the portion: maybe ten *tiny* pieces of mushroom scattered across the whole half. Honestly, if you sliced up two small white mushrooms, that’s about the amount we got. For the upcharge, it felt a little ridiculous.

Would I still go back? Absolutely, but next time I’ll stick to the plain pie and skip the toppings.

Really good Detroit style pizza with some type of Parmesan in the crust making it extra crispy, cheesy, and delicious. At least as good or better than other Detroit pizzas I’ve had outside of Michigan (e.g., Via 313, Emmy Squared) because the crust was so light. Pizza was ready for pickup 20 minutes after I called which was awesome, they were cranking out pizzas. Not sure if I would eat there as they don’t do slices and it’s kind of small/dark inside

Never had Detroit style before, was truly delicious! Usually a corner slice is last to be eaten, but the Crust… so delicious. These pies are made with care and quality ingredients! Brought wine and sat outside, excellent Pepperoni , it was outstanding. We will be back!
