We drive out of our way to go to birch run to get Dairy Queen because the Davison one sucks every time! We ordered a royal cheesecake blizzard and we had to say lightly blended because they always give you just crumbs of cheesecake. They completely forgot the strawberries in it so we asked for a new one. 15 minutes later we find out they FORGOT to make it. So 5 minutes goes by of asking again and they bring it with the most pathetic amount of strawberries and both blizzard had just crumbs of cheesecake with no pieces or chunks whatsoever.

Got cheesecake and Oreo blizzard it was good but only had 2 cheesecake bites in it. Very disappointed especially because this dairy queen used to be good. Definitely going downhill. Won’t be coming back to this location for a while. Hopefully they get it together.

Atmosphere at the drive-thru is remarkable! Window on the left and it opens to reveal a plethora of cones and ice cream dispensers. Within seconds a person hands us our order, takes our money and says “have a good day”. Then we drive around there building a few times admiring the atmosphere, taking it all in until the next time we stop in.

They hardly fill a cup of ice cream all the way, no matter the size. I order a medium it looks like a small (and its already melting). Any other dairy queen in Genesee County does it better. They charge more too. Only thing they have over other Dairy queens is the open till 11.

I ordered a snickers blizzard and paid extra for additional snickers, extra for cheesecake bits, and extra for fudge. Guess what I got. A lot of ice cream with some snickers. Not a lot of snickers, just some. And absolutely zero cheesecake. And absolutely zero fudge. Never again.

Tonight we were having a rare night because my whole family was together. So I decided I would take everyone to Dairy Queen for a treat. Over a thirty minute drive from where we were, we arrived 10:05pm. Now this Dairy Queen stays opened until 11pm so I thought we would have no problem ordering anything from the menu. But I was wrong. We couldn’t order anything that we wanted because everything that we wanted had chocolate ice cream in it and when we drove up to order our food they told us they didn’t have chocolate ice cream. Apparently they closed the chocolate ice cream machine down early for the night to make it easier for them when closing the restaurant. This really pissed me off. I can understand if we arrived 10 minutes before closing that they would do this but not an hour before closing.
Thank you Dairy Queen for ruining my family’s night just because you wanted to make easier for your self at closing.
