This place is such a great Gem to find. Today my son and I stopped in for lunch on our way home from spending the week for Thanksgiving in Wilmington Delaware and we were starving so we decided since 95 was ridiculous to take 301 home and decided we were going to stop in Chestertown since we never have before and stretch our legs and get some food. My son loves a good BBQ so we decided yo give it a try and OMG as soon as walked in we noticed how nicely decorated it was the owner greeted us with a smile and said we could sit anywhere. The Sweetest waitress greeted us with a warm smile and my son got the House burger which he devoured and I went with the fish and chips (Cod) which was piping hot and the best I’ve ever had. Loved the fries as well. Will definitely come back and try the whiting and Pit beef and ribs worth the 1 and half trip to bring the rest of the family to eat here.

This is such a gem and serves up some delicious, fresh, and hot food. The prices are reasonable for the food that you enjoy.

Dined in, super friendly and great customer service! The waitress checked in very frequent and had great conversation. Food was excellent. I need to come back to try the brisket! It must be good since it was sold out when I got there.

This place is a wonderful adventure into the realm of home-cooking. Breakfast was unbelievably delicious and filling. The French Toast sandwich was an epic mixture of tastes and delights.
Their scrapple was made to Lancaster standards, and service was quick and friendly.
It’s worth the pop in.

After leaving, My wife sat in the car and looked at each other and said “holy sh$t”. This was the best bbq we honestly ever had, and we love bbq. Everything was excellent from the food to the welcoming customer service. We highly recommend stopping by Phat Daddy’s BBQ Shack and giving it a try, it’s 110% worth the trip! Our pictures say it all!

Walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly face. Basic delicious menu for BBQ, Ribs, Chicken, Brisket, and even Turkey. I decided on the Fried fish (cod I believe). Food arrived at the same time, hot fresh and delicious. As we were sitting I think the owner came out to ask how everything was going… and it was going good. Nice spot. Get your grub on in a town with limited options. open late and a friendly place to eat and meet.

Awesome BBQ! I’m so happy I finally checked this place out! We had the loaded pork fries and requested without onions(allergy) and they made it happen! We also ordered the brisket with collards, Mac & cheese, and hush puppies everything was awesome! The staff was perfect and accommodating to everything we needed. I also enjoyed all their sauces and they even hooked it up with the vinegar.

Finished a triathlon nearby and rolled up to phat daddy’s for some recovery nourishment. The service was excellent and kind from the start! We had our dog with us and they set up a tent canopy and table just for us. Brought out drinks and a bowl for the dog, even put on some music for us. The food was excellent, some of the best pit beef I’ve had. Worth a visit!

Boy! We’ve have been missing out on this place! We’ve lived in the area for over 2 years and always seen this place but never stopped.
Today we did, craving a good cheese burger and let me just say WOW !!! They did not disappoint!
Savannah greeted us with a smile and perfect CS!
The food was cooked to absolute perfection as we waited, clearly nothing was pre-made, all freshly done the right way! The owner also greeted us at one point.
We brought it home and it was amazing !!
