Sadly disappointed! Didn’t know the owners had left until I got home and opened my plates! This is definitely not what I was used to! I have never gotten an Eddies special that looked like this! I will miss the old Shonos! Probably will not return. Please don’t expect the old quality or care!

Shonos is under new management and I have to say, everything has been amazing!! They will now be serving sushi and I am so excited about it! The Spicy Dream Roll and the Vegas Summer Roll were my favorites but the Shonos Roll, the Super Crunch and the Shrimp Tempura roll were all fantastic!! It’s nice to have a favorite restaurant with new food options that exceeded every expectation! Definitely will be back!

The previous owners have deservingly retired! The new owners are doing a great job at keeping Shonos the same great place to have a delicious meal! I had the Eddies Special bowl! It was the same great dish as before!

i ordered pick up through toast takeout. i was a little grumpy when i went to get it bc i had put in for curbside and was comfy in my PJs and not wanting to get out. but when i called about where to park for curbside, there was some challenge in communicating. so finally went in to get it, in my pj pants. despite that, i ordered hibachi steak and it was very large portions and freshly cooked. tasty too. not to mention good price for what you get. i’ll order here again for sure. they even remembered the spicy mayo.

Mom and pop’s restaurant. The food was good. Portion is good. A little pricey but great overall. I got the Eddie’s Special. It came with chicken & beef stir fried with some onions, cabbage. The sauce is teriyaki based and delicious. Side salad with ginger based dressing.

DELICIOUS! Teriyaki bowls and combination plates are so so good and plenty of food. Their yum yum sauce is some of the best! (Pictured is the bowl. It doesn’t actually come with the vegetables, I stole some from my husband’s plate)

Delicious!! Tried this place based on the ratings and was not dissappointed! Entrées were flavored perfectly, not too salty, not too bland… the portions were plenty. Hibachi styled food but served at your table versus watching the chef cook at your group table. We enjoyed the three meat combination dinner.. Steak, Chicken and Shrimp for one, and Steak, Shrimp and Scallops for the other… You get what you pay for, I’ll definitely return when I’m back in Birmingham!

Great spot for a quick hibachi meal without the show! Eddie’s Special is my favorite. Comes with a ginger salad.
