Absolutely one of the best burgers in the valley. Real angus beef good bread and real cheese. The pickles are crunchy,full size sliced in half.This place is in a great location with an outdoor dining area in a nice spot. I Like that you can place your order in several kiosks to avoid the long lines. Just grab a disc after you complete the order and it will light up when your order is ready for pick up.

Grabbed burgers for my team and they were a huge hit—everyone loved them. Big, juicy burgers with tons of topping options and really great fries. Super easy to pick up a to-go order thanks to parking right in front. Definitely coming back!

Found this place when we were in the area and I was starving. I’m never a huge fan of ordering at a kiosk, but I’m old ♀️ It’s not a huge menu but still has plenty of choices. He went for the Mission Melt and I did the BBQ & bacon melt. We added the garlic Parmesan fries and a strawberry shake. Both burgers disappeared very quickly and the fries had a nice spice mix on them. The shake was throw back old fashioned type, perfection. The fountain drinks are from Alameda Soda which is a nice variety. This definitely hit the spot tonight.

Our first time here, and we’ll definitely be back! The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and the area was spotless. The burger and chicken sandwich were juicy and bursting with flavor! To top it off, they brought us a complimentary fresh-out-of-the-oven cookie. We also bought more lemonade and strawberry drinks for our road trip. Overall, it was a great experience!

Well I came here after seeing a Facebook reel on this place and then the good reviews I read! Keep in mind I ordered to go and I had a 20 minute ride home and so we all know fresh is best! I was going to do a 4 star as the spicy mission burger , I was not too excited about , but it wasn’t horrible, just my least favorite of all I tried.
So 5 stars it is! The service was fast and staff very friendly! Prices are reasonable and it took only 6 minutes to get my food! The ingredients in the food are very fresh and the Place was pretty clean and the only complaint I really had was the parking out front was very minimal and I don’t usually drive into this area, but it’s by ASU so I’m sure there was a parking garage close by that I didn’t see. Ok I ordered 4 items and drink
Garlic Fries: omg these were amazing!!I can only imagine how much better they would have tasted fresh at the table!! These are a must to get if you go and you like garlic fries in general! You absolutely won’t be disappointed!
Strawberry Lemonade: very delicious and refreshing!! I will get 2 next time as one wasn’t enough!
Steak and Cheese Melt : This was also so amazing and the red peppers in my opinion put it over the top for me!!
Patty Melt: I love a good patty melt and this was just good/great, not amazing,as this doesn’t come on marbled rye and if it did then maybe it would have put it in the amazing category for me ( I knew the bread would not be marbled but had to try it out)Please note the bread it comes on is very good, I guess I’m just a patty melt marbled rye snob
The Spicy Mission Burger: this was my least favorite although I loved the fresh ingredients I just didn’t think it was tasty enough to order it again.
The pickle: great tasting crunchy kosher dill! ( I think it was kosher dill, I’m not a huge pickle fan but nonetheless these I really liked!!)
Overall this is a place I would visit again!

We never would have found this place if it wasn’t for my craving for garlic fries, but I’m so glad we did! The food comes out piping hot, crispy, melty, and full of flavor.
I love the service as well. I did not catch his name but the man up front was very welcoming and kind. It seems that everyone working there is pleasant.
I don’t live local but I’ll definitely go out of my way to stop here next time I’m around

The Melt is one of my favorite burger places. It is hard for me to choose one burger place that is the king of burgers in Arizona, but in my opinion, The Melt is definitely a contender.
I have visited The Melt a few times since they opened their Tempe location. Each experience has left me wanting to return.
The burgers are some of the best I have ever had. Everything tastes fresh, and the burgers are nice and juicy. They also have great fries. As great as the food is, the best part is their milkshakes and malts. I have had both their vanilla and snickerdoodle malts, and both are delicious. The snickerdoodle malt brings back memories of delightful snickerdoodle cookies.
The workers there are very nice. They greet you the moment you walk in, and they are more than happy to offer recommendations for some of their food items. Another thing I like is when they offer pieces of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. That is a tremendous bonus.
The atmosphere is nice and modern with a feel-good vibe. I also like the cleanliness of the place. The last time I was there, one of the soap containers in the restrooms was empty, and I brought it to the attention of a staff member. They thanked me for bringing the issue to their attention and promptly addressed it.
I highly recommend The Melt to anyone looking for a great burger spot in the Tempe/ASU area.

Juicy, thick, and cheesy burgers! Super delicious and high quality. My husband absolutely cleaned house with the double melt. The chocolate chip cookies are surprisingly amazing, definitely get one. They’re warm, gooey, and crispy. Service was exceptional. They gave us a free cookie.

My husband and I came in for lunch, he ordered an Original and I had a Swiss & Shroom burger with a side a garlic Parmesan fries and the burgers were both juicy and cooked to perfection!! Fries were a nice added touch. Alice was the hostess with the mostest! Outstanding service and great food! Thank you for filling our bellies with deliciousness! We will be back!

Was in town visiting and decided to come here because my boyfriend and I were looking for a burger joint and this place was honestly delicious, my only complaint is I wish I order fries instead of a salad and that I got a milkshake oppose to my lemonade. Nothing was wrong with either the lemonade or salad I just really wanted some fries and a milkshake and I was “trying to be healthy,” should’ve known better than to do that at a burger place. Either way my boyfriend got the snickerdoodle milkshake and the Parmesan fries and they were both really good, it wasn’t too much but just right amount of flavoring in it, so I was very jealous, but that aside my burger was great, I got the Swiss ‘n’ Shroom Meltburger which was amazing I added avocado to it because I’m an avocado fan and since they had it as an add on I thought why not. But we both really enjoyed or meals and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.
