My husband and I had booked a room at Huddleson Court for January 2025. The weekend of our stay, we got a call that the pipes had froze in our room, as well as all of the rooms. We were asked if we wanted a refund or to stay another time in the room. I said I would take the refund and we would just rebook at a later time potentionally. I never got the refund. I decided to call in October of 2026 and ask to stay since I never got my refund so we figured we would ask to book a room since I didn’t get my refund. We scheduled for the end of November 2026 in the Orchard room as I wanted the air jet tub. When we arrived, the girl on staff had no idea how to check us in. She said she couldn’t find us in the system, so I told her what room we had booked over the phone. She gave us the key to the room. I asked her what time breakfast was served and she said they don’t serve breakfast unless you pay for it. Online it says breakfast in included with your room stay. She didnt know what time check out was either. When we drove to the location of the rooms, there was only one light outside in the parking area. It was so dark walking to our actualy room, we couldn’t tell which door was ours and tried not to trip over all of the brush on the ground. The lighting in the room was either extremely dim or just not working at all. Every sine bulb was dim or dead. The room was freezing cold and the wifi was not working. The toilet rocked badly and the worst part was that the air jet tub was out of commission! We were not told that the tub was broken when we booked the room. We ended up leaving 30 mins after arriving. I should have asked for a refund when I returned my key, but I was so frazzled that I didn’t. Plus, the girl at the desk probably would not have known how to refund it. My husband called to get the refund and air our issues later on and left a message and no one has ever called him back. We had stayed twice before and it was lovely and the food was good. This time was a complete disaster and the Huddleson Court needs a lot of maintenance inside and outside.

We had our wedding at Green Gables May 27, 2023 and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! Teresa was incredible from the time we reached out about scheduling a tour up until the end of our reception! Not one single detail was missed and our day was absolutely perfect!!! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the food is delicious (& there are so many options to choose from), & the service was second to none! We have returned twice since the wedding for dinner and Teresa always remembers us and greets us like we are part of the family! I HIGHLY recommend Green Gables and assure you that Teresa works so hard to make everything special and as low stress as possible!!!

We held my daughter’s wedding at Green Gables this past weekend. Perfection! Teresa was wonderful from the moment the venue was selected through to the following day when we picked up our items. It is a gorgeous location to hold a reception. The outdoor patio was perfect for the cocktail hour. The Tuscany Room offered the perfect romantic setting for the dinner and dancing. Thank you Teresa!

Planned a proposal around this restaurant and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The place is so unique, the food is top tier and very delicious, and everyone was very kind. They even made our table extra special with candles to have with our meal! 10/10 for everything. Thanks Green Gables it was the perfect day!

We had our wedding at Green Gables as a last minute venue and it was better than what my first choice would have been. They were extremely accommodating with my decorations and helped incorporate them into my wedding. They created amazing floral centerpieces using the vessels I provided. Green Gables staff ensured the day ran smoothly by decorating, conducting the rehearsal, and day of. They quickly responded to all my questions. We were able to stay, have our wedding guests stay, have our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all on site. All the guests were asking how I found this hidden gem! It is such a beautiful venue with excellent staff.

Green Gables and the staff were amazing on our special day. Theresa made the planning process a breeze and the staff did an amazing job helping to set up the decor. We had our ceremony and the reception there with an intimate group of 26 of our closest family and friends but returned the following night for a private dinner celebration in the dinning area while a much larger (250+ I think) party was underway. They can accommodate small and large groups. The food was amazing too!

We celebrated our wedding at Green Gables in October. Our guests were definitely wowed with the venue! Food was fantastic (just not sure where the leftovers went. As there was food not eaten and none was sent home with us), bar service was on point, and Teresa definitely kept things moving! I think my only complaint would be I wish we could have had the ceremony earlier than 5 to give more time for pictures and dancing after dinner.
