Delicious stuff!
This time my favorite was dubai chocolate donut.
There are self-serve bakery cabinets with a plethora of divine treats. They look very decadent but I will say, what I tried was not overly sweet. Items looked much sweeter than they actually were. I found this to be a pleasant surprise and very enjoyable.
Paris Baguette also has prepared sandwiches (some which can be heated), salads and Lavazza coffee drinks. And they have a cake counter they can assist you with.
I had a caramel macchiato, a jumbo twisted donut (which was airy, crispy and tasted like cinnamon), and I shared a chicken pesto baguette (which was light, fresh and flavorful). My son tried the salted butter twist roll, which he really enjoyed. And my Mom had a fruit danish that she liked.
I will definitely be visiting here again. There are many other menu items I’d like to try.
I took my two girls on a easy 40-minute drive from Monroeville to North Hills, and I can honestly say we were not disappointed! Our late day visit to the bakery at about 4pm still offered a huge variety of both savory and sweet selections. We grabbed a tray, parchment, and tongs, and picked out a few items to share.
The checkout was a breeze, thanks to the friendly staff. We indulged in some absolutely delicious pastries, a sandwich, and smoothies. They were frequently restocking treats so we couldn’t help but chose some of these goodies to go! We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something new to try!
Edit: tried the pastries and they were subpar. Donuts glaze cracked off, cinnamon rice donut was tough as a shoe, pain au choc had very little chocolate, and palmier wasn’t done enough
First time at PB. Picked some pastries and wanted a piece of cake and two coffees. Went to the counter and asked for the pastries to go and a piece of cake. No reply. Wife says didn’t you want cake, i said yes and the type, no reply. Just said skip it. No gloves, only wax paper used so better than others exp.
Saw a Korean coffee, so i asked what it was. Cashier said its Korean. I understand but what makes it that i may want it. Asked another employee with ear buds not paying attention. Nasty look from him for having to remove an ear bud and be bothered, It’s Korean milk. Ok still no description so order iced caramel mac.
Go to use the bathroom while i wait. Pee on the floor, paper towels all over, smelled bad, toilet destroyed inside. Went back to grab my coffee and it’s hot. Told the employee with buds its iced. Have to wait for it to be remade but it was good coffee.
Pastries were very expensive, 4.50 for a stuffed donut and $4-8 per pastry. Decent flavor but they’re not fresh made, tasted frozen.
Will only go back for coffee and if it’s ordered ahead and double checked but i doubt it, plenty of better places nearby.
