My wife and I visited this establishment on Valentine’s Day 2026, opting to wait for favorable weather due to the first-come, first-served parking arrangement at nearby locations. We were pleased with the culinary experience and warm hospitality extended by the staff, whose servers were both friendly and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. Both my companion and I enjoyed the chicken cacciatore, which featured grilled boneless chicken breast and was exceptionally flavorful. Notably, the dish deviated from the traditional preparation method I’ve encountered elsewhere, which often includes fried whole chicken simmered in sauce. I was pleased to have chosen this option and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner.

Went there for sisters birthday dinner. The server, Peyton, did an excellent job for a party of 20. I had the tour of Italy and it was fantastic
Appetizers were also delicious
I really like the little battery operated candles on the tables. Nice place. * I should have taken a picture before I cut it all up sorry

I ordered food delivered and unfortunately it was not very good. The bread was bland and dry, the pasta was supposed to be a trio but was one blended mush. I thought it would be more legitimate Italian pasta but cheese does not make pasta authentic. I wanted to give a good review but not I wish I had ordered Olive Garden, at least I would know what I was getting and fresh.

Great dishes and rolls every time,
my favorite is the linguine in white clam sauce and a glass of Merlot. We always ask for more authentic family owned restaurants in Council Bluffs well this is the perfect place! I wish more people would support them instead of just going to the bars on the 100 block or franchised places – it’s very affordably priced.

Sometimes I hate writing reviews, especially when I deeply want to leave a positive review. Let’s start on a high note… the restaurant is nuzzled in the 100 block here in Council Bluffs. The space itself is quant and charming. It has minimal decor with a running Italian theme. The tables are very small, not ideal for a larger group. There were 2 adults and 1 child in our group and the table quickly filled up completely between appetizer plates and main dishes. The staff had friendly demeanor, but seemed very overworked. It was not busy when we sat down to eat. Our waiter was fast with our drinks and bread. Sadly, the bread was plain and lacked flavor. There was a very strong language barrier, so the communication was limited regarding our order. He still managed to bring it out correctly. Unfortunately, he didnt bus our table once. We orderd meatballs, spinach dip and mozzarella sticks for appetizers and the meatballs were the highlight of our entire meal. The spinach dip was more of a soup, it didn’t sit on a chip and dripped off without a struggle. I would classify it more in a soup category. We ordered starter salads and the Cesar was more of a dessert given how sweetened it was with sugar. My house salad was decent, the homemade ranch helped tremendously. We ordered kids Alfredo spaghetti and sadly this was also too sweet to eat. I ordered chicken Alfredo and it was OK but not better than the competitor. We also ordered the baked penne and this was also overly sweet. The majority of the food tasted as if it had been drowned in sugar.. not the ideal lunch we had hoped for. The kids Alfredo spaghetti and the penne were both tossed out and the only food we ate was the chicken Alfredo I ordered, which i was not impressed with. I want to state that I am hoping this review causes a stir and there can be positive that comes from this. The food was pretty and it looked delicious, it just severely missed the mark. First impressions are everything and this one was not good for us. Given that we spent over 100 dollars for 2 adults and 1 kiddo, we won’t be returning, but I hope things get better as this town needs a new restaurant. All my fingers are crossed for them!! Good luck.
