Ordered food for my whole family from here for the first time. They’ve been there for a while, so I thought the food must me ok for the price. Not at all… I ordered the fajitas, and the meat was soaked in what tasted like barbecue sauce. Really sweet and inedible for me. I tried the carne asade burrito and it seemed to be made from unseasoned ground beef. Might be a good place for drinks and shooting pool, but I will never pay them for food again. Terriblle!

There was noone at the bar except the bartender when I walked in. I ordered some food to go and asked for a Cadillac Margarita while I waited. As the bartender was entering my order I noticed her coughing with mucus running out of her nose onto her lip. Some friends of hers came in and they noticed the coughing and runny nose too. She told them she was just back from a trip to Columbia where she got sick. Then even though I had ordered first she mixed drinks for her friends without a mask or even washing her hands. I was so disgusted at how unhygienic the bartender was I walked out.

Worst service. Can’t say how the good was because we never got any! Let me start by saying they weren’t even packed. More than half the tables were open. Waited at one table for 20 minutes and didn’t even get water or chips and salsa. Moved to a table directly across from the bar and waited another 20 minutes. The gal at the bar made eye contact, had time to socialize with the 4 people sitting at the bar yet still, no service. After waiting another 20 minutes, we were done. 40 minutes wasted. Worst customer service ever. One star is being generous.

Food to go i think they forgot about it. I waited along time. The to go boxes food came in was falling through like it been sitting. Chili relano taste horrid. Three tacos bottoms soaked through fell out before i even picked it up. Just all around terribal this was 9pm- 10pm. Wont eat there again.

Great alcohol .. Food is not so great. I have ate at this establishment on two separate occasions. The first time, I was waited on by a server and food was presentable. However, got stomach issues. The second time, I was served by a gentleman in dirty clothes and dirty fingernails. I don’t have an issue with either of these accept we are talking about food service. I feel like having a presentable look is a plus. I got sick from the food once again. I have ate at other Mexican restaurants and no issues. Just this place. I have came for just chips and drinks, no problems. Problem is in the kitchen.

I started writing about my experience of this place and I got more angry by the minute. I deleted everything I wrote. My party of 3 adults, 1 child and 1 baby walked into a restaurant that read “No Minors” although it was a family restaurant. We seated ourselves, then the menus arrived 30 minutes later. We had to make our own high chair, we received a wrong size drink and the drink itself was wrong, waited 1 hour for our food after our order was taken, the tamales were cold, the ground beef quality was worst than Taco Bell’s, and all food entrees were extremely salty. We wanted to say something during our meal, but was afraid we were going to have to wait another hour for new entrees to come out. At the end of the night, we asked for a discount on the meal due to cold tamales, the wrong size drink, and extremely slow service when it wasn’t even busy. Only the cold tamales and the wrong size drink was discounted. The waitress even said, “You guys ate it all well”. She was rude and did not attend to us compared to a fraction of a Sheri’s Pie waitress. If you are thinking about getting your Mexican on in or near Carlton, do not waste your time at this place.

The new manager is phenomenal! We are visiting wineries from out of town and made a pitstop between tastings and this was a wonderful place to take a break. The margaritas were awesome. They were starting to cook food and it smelled so good we’re coming back for dinner!

We had placed an order the day before and in person for pickup. Upon arriving, the doors were locked, and no one would answer. The voice mail message was full. Waited 30 minutes. No service so we left and got food somewhere else.
