The sandwich was delicious. I would have liked some more kraut! I thought, from the description, it would be fresh turkey and ham, not deli shaved meat. While it was a delicious sandwich I do think the price was a bit high. I wouldn’t have gotten the fries either. I would ABSOLUTELY go check out the restaurant again to try other menu items though!

When we visited this location, it was the low season for tourism.
So it is telling that the restaurant was completely full.
Although we had been told in advance that reservations were not necessary, it was busy, but there was also room at the bar or in the garden.
We ordered two delicious salads and supplemented them with warm brie from the oven and a portion of fries. Together with a carafe of red wine, this was more than enough.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. The server was very pleasant and the patio was comfortable. I like that they allow well behaved dogs to join there owners for a meal and put a water bowl down just for the dog. The owners are forbidden from sharing the dogs water!

This quaint little restaurant was an absolute joy! The cocktails are amazing and I particularly liked the partner in crime as I’m a huge fan of raspberry, lemon and anything that makes your mouth pucker. The appetizers and shareables are varied and tasty. I had an amazing salad with scallops that I turned into a dinner and I really enjoyed my affogato that also had salted caramel vodka in it. Think espresso martini plus ice cream! I also tried the cheesecake in a jar and it was extremely good! Great ambiance, amazing service, and wonderful food and cocktails. And if I’m being completely honest, the partnering crime was so good that I had to order a second one.

We went here as it was the only restaurant open that day, on a holiday. Good thing, we really loved the experience.
It’s a very cute restaurant, great ambiance, and charming. They have seating indoors and on the patio.
We picked the chicken quinoa bowl and the pot tenderloin, and their homemade lemonade.
Both the dishes were perfect, tasted great. The pork tenderloin came with a sweet berry puree, and made the tenderloin taste amazing.
Staff are also very courteous, quick and helpful.

We stopped in at The Emerald Light for lunch and were so delighted with what we encountered. The art on the walls was beautiful, the staff friendly and informative, and the food, well, it was unbelievably deliciously. It took a little time to put it all together but was absolutely worth the way. Neither of us drink which is why we’re not commenting on that. Take a look at my lunch. It was new on the menu that day and was amazingly fresh and delicious!

What an incredible little restaurant in the downtown of Shelburne, NS. The atmosphere is nice, clean and upscale compared to most others.
I tried the Friend Chicken Shawarma burger and it did not disappoint at all. Seasoning was on point, and the pickled turnips were incredible.
Would definitely recommend checking out this place if youre ever in Shelburne!

What a find!! We had an outstanding shrimp po’boy and their classic tomato soup and grilled cheese. Two great local beers from local Shelburne star Boxing Rock Brewery to top it off. Outstanding food and service off season!

This eatery is quite small gives the feel that everyone seats on each others shoulders especially if someone mind own business being loud – this fact kinda ruined our visit. We ordered recommended scallops on pork belly- AMAZING ‼️‼️. Soo food is great here as we heard.
