I got bad stomach right after I ate there. I the same price as at Jim’s original from Maxwell Street no problems the same tortas from Dos Hombres , no problem. but these guys have hygiene or spoiled food that they feed you not even disappointed but just angry why why would you have spoiled food and serve it and pay $20 to get sick?

I walked in for a quick lunch, and the owner refused to even acknowledge me, choosing to continue a casual conversation despite her own friend gesturing for her to help me. I eventually just walked out.
I went in for a soda and some candy marked “$1.00 + tax” on a handwritten note. At the register, they arbitrarily decided it was $1.50. When I showed them their own sign, they didn’t care.
This business seems to rely on an affluent clientele that doesn’t know better quality Mexican food. The meat is low-grade and the service is dismissive. If you value your time, your money, or your palate, go somewhere else.

My meat was cold. Burrito cheese not melted.. cold meat on it too… i hot a $4.00 corn in a cup and got the smallest cup ever and half of it filled with mayo!!.. terrible.. tacos taste ok. Not worth my 35 bucks i spent.. i dont have much bad reviews but the corn really topped it off….

I wish I could give a different review. We used to love this place but quality went down, they could not follow instructions and delivery was painfully slow. First time we have ordered in about a year and guess what, all the problems still exist. Last time we will ever order again from this place.

I was extremely disappointed and insulted by my experience at this restaurant. The place was almost empty—just my husband, myself, and one other couple, yet the service was shockingly poor. Our food was brought out and simply left for us to grab ourselves, while the other table was served properly. It made us feel uncomfortable, ignored, and unwelcome. For a restaurant with so few customers, there is absolutely no excuse for this level of service. We will not be returning. EVER! Oh as other’s came in they were served their food. I’m disgusted .

A wonderful place for an authentic and delicious Mexican dining experience! Atmosphere is good, clean, colorful and interactive. Service is good and very friendly. The food is quintessentially good, being fresh and flavorful. Everything is properly done, but their best is the spicy dishes and sauce! Absolutely wonderful restaurant and would definitely recommend

Disappointing. Unseasoned food, uninspiring menu. While the ingredients were fresh, my chicken bowl was as bland as something you’d find in an airport cafeteria. Service was ok and generally welcoming. Restaurant could be a bit cleaner. Overall, average or below – likely won’t return.

food is always fresh and delicious. service is always friendly and quick. As a realtor in the northshore, this place is a go to for lunch and dinner with clients. So conveniently located in the laundry building which also has starbucks and my office!
