A great place for take out to go for supper. Portions are decently sized, dinner rolls are fantastic, food is fresh and prepared well and staff are helpful and friendly! The roadhouse chicken and the walleye dinner are our family favs! Chips and salsa are great too-generous amount! The prices are on the higher side though.

The North Star has just started serving breakfast so we stopped in the other day. There was an excellent menu with some great choices. I had the monte Cristo sandwich and it was great. My husband had the strawberry and cream pancakes and he loved them. There were three pancakes and they were huge with a very generous amount of strawberries. The prices were very good and the service was quick and friendly. We are so happy to have a breakfast place so close. We will be back!!

Wow! Our hockey team had an unforgettable experience at North Star Restaurant, and we owe a huge part of that to Jordan, who went above and beyond from start to finish. Serving a large, hungry team is no small task, but Jordan handled everything with absolute professionalism, warmth, and energy.
From keeping everything perfectly organized to making sure everyone had what they needed before they even had to ask, Jordan made sure everything went smooth and was enjoyable. The drinks were fantastic, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was exactly what we needed after a long game.
We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Thank you, North Star, and an extra shoutout to Jordan for making our visit truly stellar! We’ll definitely be back!

I drive for my job a lot. I drive by this place all the time. I was excited about having another local place to grab lunch. Some of my other employees (whom also travel by here daily) said the food was good. I went it at lunch, maybe 10 people spread out in the restaurant and bar. I sat for twenty minutes, I never saw an employee, or a menu. I left without ever seeing an employee. I won’t be back. It’s too bad.

Kristen and Jordan were awesome and very attentive. The 3 meat plate was very large and tasted great way more than we could eat could easily share but what fun is that! Happy hour starts at 1 and ends at 5 so can start the evening early. Will definitely return to try the rest of the menu and enjoy a happy hour or 3.

Mains- breakfast burger- lacked seasoning and was luke warm when served, GOAT- really good, Cuban- bland and was also luke warm, buffalo chicken macncheese- not the best and was bland.
Drinks- $9 bloody was good but overpriced
Service- felt like a burden to be waited on. Only got offered one drink. Tipped below 20% for the first time in a long time.
Overall I would skip. Likely better options at better value elsewhere.

Love this place so much usually. We go frequently for the golf simulator. We love the simulator atmosphere. When we ordered an appetizer, we never received the food. It was over an hour for cheese curds. When we went to pay our tab and we told the server we didn’t get our food, all she did was smile and say sorry. Nothing to make it right. We brought money to the business, they didn’t provide anything outside our self-serve beverages and we just got a sorry for lack of food provided.
