We went to Fizzy Jane’s for breakfast. The have a limited, boutique style menu, which I prefer to an overwhelming one.
We ordered the brunch board, the steak board, and two coffees.
Both the brunch & steak boards were delicious. The perfect combo of sweet and savory. My favorite items on the brunch board were the quiche & French toast. In fact, the quiche was melt in your mouth to die for. The only criticism I have on the food is that the bacon on the brunch board was a bit undercooked for my liking as I like my bacon crisp and it was chewy, but to each their own.
The service was great and the establishment was cute. I do wish the two top tables were a bit larger as we literally couldn’t fit the two boards with the small plates which were already on the table and our drinks on the two top. Thankfully we were sitting against a wall with a window over head, so we put our coffees in the window sill. Aside from this our dining accommodations were pleasant. They also offer a military discount when you show a valid military id, which is a plus for military families.

Came in for dinner last night and we were very happy with the decision. Great retro vibe. We sat in the bar area. Cade and Chance were our server/bartender. No disappointments. Started with cocktails and the duck wing & crispy rice/tuna. Both were spot on!!
I had the venison medallions and husband had wild ragu. Both were amazing!!
Do not miss this placebos in Southport. Easily the BEST restaurant in town.

Fizzy Jane’s is not what I was expecting, in the best way possible! It has such a quaint atmosphere that it didn’t even feel like a restaurant- our server Kiara was very knowledgeable! She hooked us up with the mimosa flight (which is perfect for brunch), the crab dip, the short ribs and chicken and waffles. The portions are GENEROUS, and the food is to die for, and service is next level! I cannot recommend this place enough, be sure to make a reservation and ask for Kiara if you can! She even helped us find some cute places to get the most out of our day trip to Southport!

Sat at the bar on a Friday night for drinks, appetizers, and to listen to music. Guitarist created perfect background ambiance. Food was delicious and vibe was swanky and different than other local spots. Recommend the duck wings and seafood & grits.

Food and drinks were delicious! Service and atmosphere were wonderful! The special of the night was Elk and was cooked to perfection! Seafood and grits was decadent and delicious! The scallops were the best I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to go back! What a wonderful experience!

We have came here many times and have always loved it but we were very disappointed this time. Everything started great until We all got our food and I received my salad at the same time. I did ask the girl who served the salad for an extra bowl so when our waiter came over to see how our food was he asked if I got two salads. What he should have been acknowledging is the fact that I got it with my dinner Instead of before. The dressing was supposed to be a vinaigrette but it was literally a fruit puree. Its super thick. ordered the seafood grits and they were super oily. I inserted a picture to show what it looked like. Every bite was thinned out grits with a ton of oil! My husband got the Mahi stuffed with crab and it was loaded with a ton of sauce and it was overpowering. It was like soup on top of the fish. When we were just about done I asked for another Drink And My waiter was going to throw away My untouched salad but I told him that I needed a box for it. I would have assumed he would have asked if I needed a box or if there was anything wrong with it at that point I would have said I didn’t eat it because it came out with my food and I didn’t want my entre to get cold. I get my drink and box pretty quickly but then we waited at least 15-20 minutes for him to come back to ask about check. Once he brings the check over he stands there and waits while I read it and look for my credit card. After I paid him, because I felt rushed with him standing over me, i didn’t notice that they charged me $15 a piece for the paper planes even though their menu clearly states that they’re $14 a piece . And lastly I do want to mention that not one glass or plate was ever cleared off the table the entire time that we sat there , As you can see in the picture right before we paid the bill. This was just overall not a good experience from start to finish.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday brunch today! Excellent service, wonderful food. The bloody Mary was the absolute best I ever had…smooth, spicy, and fun as well. We had quiche and steak hash. Both were delicious and well portioned. Brian, our server, took good care of us and took the time to help us with our choices too.We look forward to going back.

Such a great experience! Planned on having entrees but the apps were too good to pass up — the steak bites and the crispy tuna were unbelievable (and honestly huge portions!). Our server was amazing and funny, the bartender was great and the drinks were on point (and beautiful)! Thanks for a great anniversary ♥️
