We ordered chicken and got beef chicken! What kind of chicken karrai is this?! After seeing the food I wasn’t even hungry anymore. I asked the waiter to switch my food and they just denied. I’ve been coming here for several months now but this is absolutely ridiculous.

Very tasty food horrible service… several times I called to put in an order for pickup and told it will take 20 min…20 min later when I get there I have to remind them of the order and they make me wait 20 minutes again… last time I was there I made a scene as I had my toddler with me who can’t sit still, which is why I call ahead to put in the order. They then gave me my food quickly after. I get home take a bite into raw chicken. That was the last time I ate at this restaurant.

The food was good but very poor customer service. The lady should welcome and talk to the guests with a smile instead of treating the guests like as if they are eating for free. She also forgot an order we made and we had to wait. They didn’t provide any water either. The lady was on the phone all the time and the least helpful. Ate half way and waited for almost 15 minutes for the other part of the order they forgot.

The food was good, but will not be coming back anymore. Me and my husband went and had a nice meal at a reasonable price. second time service was slow and somehow our bill was more than last time (ordered the exact same dishes and this time no drinks) third time we ordered the same dishes no drinks(we like what we like lol) and it was even more expensive than the past two times and it looked like less meat this time. After we got home the next day we saw an extra $3 charge on our card we thankfully got refunded. The woman is nice but I don’t see how each time we go it’s higher and higher. service is verryy slow and after we order usually takes about 20 min to get our food.

Very unprofessional behavior and overcharging – recently my family dined at this restaurant while we visited “Statue of Liberty” in NY. During billing, the lady at the counter charged higher compared to what was shown in the menu card saying the menu card was old and rates of vegetables had gone up, added credit card service fees, didn’t provide itemized bill —- We were tired after the trip and there was no point in arguments, so I paid the full bill under protest.
The most horrific thing happened when I saw my credit card statement where the charges were $ 3 more than what the credit card receipt was 🙂
I couldn’t resist myself not writing the bad experience at this restaurant —- Guys, please be careful here !!

This is very authentic cuisine, it’s healthy, tasty and it’s beautiful. I admire the chef because she takes her time with her cooking and especially because the food is cooked healthy. The food is not dripping in oils like many similar restaurants in the city. I recommend the Newark Kabab House as one of the best Pakistani restaurants with a middle eastern touch.

My experience in this place was so bad. I ordered 7 wraps for one hour later on the phone. When I got there, there was just one wrap ready. I waited there for the rest of my order for 10 minutes. The cashier was so unprofessional and lack of communication skills that she couldn’t get the order right. While I was waiting for my flight at airport, I opened the bag and, yogurt sos ( or white sos, whatever they call it) draggled everywhere and no napkin was included. That was so dirty. I’ll never go this place again.

Disclaimer – DO NOT order keema Naan !! we ordered 4 naan and tasted the first one which we didn’t like and we asked them to cancel the other 3 naan and they didn’t…. we had to throw it in a trash, it was that bad. Clearly they didn’t care about customer satisfaction nor willing to accept or even listen to our feedback.
All they want is money from you and not provide quality food… and by the way do not eat chicken patties either, they are not fresh not made on the same day… and this was told by one of their employee. (They are stored for several days)
@Google- please add negative rating feature. Businesses like this doesn’t even deserve 1-star.
