Update: Food and service has started to go down hill. I noticed some changes in both and did find out they have new management.

Atmosphere is amazing! The pimento crab dip with old bay crackers is to die for!!! Beer selection is strange and mixed drinks are meh. Lobster roll is insanely good. I really wish they had a way to broil the oysters. I love oysters but not raw. I REALLY wish they offered a broiled/charred version. We would eat there more often if they did.

This place is a vibe. Quaint dining space that is welcoming. Great spot to grab some delicious oysters or other small bites. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The oysters were absolutely DELICIOUS!

The food and drinks are outstanding! I’ve been too afraid to order raw oysters for 20 years. This bar ONLY serves them raw. Had six gulf oysters during happy hour. They were awesome! Fresher than the oysters I’ve had on Long Island!
The lobster roll and shrimp tacos were outstanding as well. Shrimp tacos come as set of five but three were eaten before I could take a picture

The freshest seafood in Huntsville. This is my first trip to Sea Salt… There will be more. My wife and I ordered Pacific oysters, Ahi Tuna Tacos, the lobster roll, and the adult grilled cheese. All of it was fantastic. This is truly a gastro pub, small hand helds, with big flavor. The Ahi tuna tacos were melt in your mouth flavor bombs! The grilled cheese…ooey gooey deliciousness. Now, I have not been to the New England area, but the poached butter lobster, in a toasted bun was to die for. The only issue I had was expecting the oysters to come out first. However the Pacific coast oysters were a beautiful taste of the sea. Small, exquisite and delicious. Try one, with just the freshly grated horseradish and pickles…YUM! Our server was great, However she was the only one in the restaurant and was overwhelmed. All in all…a wonderful stop in Huntsville.

Dropped by Sea Salt for the first time yesterday and ordered ahi tuna tacos and a drink and they were great! Even better was the service I had with Tyler. He was down to earth and an excellent conversationalist. You can really tell he knows his sports, among other things! He also knew my needs before I did; I never had to ask for anything while there! This guy deserves a raise because he’s an asset to your establishment!
I’ll definitely be making this my regular go-to spot anytime I’m back in Huntsville for a meeting.

BEST OYSTERS in the state!! They are actually the best oysters I have ever eaten anywhere! We had two dozen. We got the Gulf ones. They had been harvested earlier this morning! The lobster roll was SPECTACULAR as well! As good as or BETTER than the ones we had in NYC. Friendly service, clean place, outdoor seating.

I typically come often to relax & enjoy my favorite oyster bar but I went on Valentines Day 2026 & the crowd was massive. I sat outside beside an older Caucasian couple waiting to be serviced. Their “support” (as the waitress called it), serviced several other tables outside of the restaurant (all Caucasian might I add) other people came & sat down after me & the support still serviced them first even though I asked for a menu from the older couple sitting next to me WHILE THE SUPPORT WAS THERE, so he would know to come help me but I still had to asked to be serviced. I felt terrible. I was clearly discriminated against & it felt awful. I hate that I loved the place so much but I will definitely be taking a break from them unless I go with someone of the opposite race. I will be informing management of this Terrible service.

Went in amd got oysters! They were amazing and the cucumber migonette that comes with it so good! The bartender (who was also one of the managers) so friendly and I really enjoyed talking with her!

This place was a pleasant surprise. The seafood was amazing and the beer excellent. Highly recommend the tuna tacos paired with the mango beer. Relaxing vibe. They have 3 areas of seating. One in front of the restaurant, inside and out back in a parking lot area. It’s unique but not a bad thing. See pictures for details. There was not much airflow inside so I recommend opening the door out back for a cross breeze. Other than that this place was excellent and the service was spot on. Enjoy!

We went in for lunch. Service was ok. But I got a half dozen oysters that were so tiny, I’m embarrassed for the people who had to serve them to me. I didn’t know you could harvest something that small. Probably can’t and people just did. Add 1 beer, glass of water and a grilled cheese that tasted weird, our bill was right at 50 bucks with the tip. It was a rip off and waste of our precious time.
