Great little place located within St Enochs shopping centre in Glasgow centre. Came here 3 years ago – glad to see it was still there! The food is excellent, well seasoned and flavoursome. Authentic Vietnamese food. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Will visit again when passing by!

During my recent visit to Glasgow, I popped into The St Enoch Centre and had a meal at Pho 79, I’ve never been to this eatery before, but I thought I’d try it. I’ve had a Pho before and fancy try one in Glasgow.
The young lady who served me was friendly and efficient, with no complaints with the service.
Regarding the meal I ordered, a special Pho,£15. It wasn’t the best. The broth was pretty flavourless and didn’t taste great. It was edible, but I can’t say I really enjoyed my meal, I wouldn’t order it again. Maybe the other dishes they serve might be better.
Overall the service was good, but the food was very average.

It was great! I had never had Vietnamese food before and the atendee was very patient and polite explaining the menu to me. There is also real/fresh fruit juice, which is hard to find in Glasgow. The portions are very generous too

A brilliant little hidden gem in the St Enoch’s centre. Delicious Pho and refreshing real lemonade. Highly recommend.

Today we had a very unsatisfactory experience at the restaurant. There were 4 adults and 1 child in our group. Normally the food is very good, but today the food was very poor, and the service was very unprofessional and disrespectful to customers.

We have been loyal customers for a long time, often recommending the restaurant to friends and leaving positive reviews. However, after today’s experience, we will no longer support or recommend this restaurant to others. There are many other Vietnamese restaurant options in Glasgow

Broth was nice and spicy – but for a chicken pho, there was barely any chicken in it! Service was excellent though. Very pricey for a pho!

Great food and great service. Good portion size too. Makes a change from some of the other Vietnamese places we have tried and a great choice outside of our usual order of Pho!

Passed by a few times at lunchtimes and always busy. Managed to finally a quiet time mid-afternoon so I ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls for my snack. This is one of my fave Vietnamese food and I was not disappointed! Crunchy texture, yummy filling and that spicy sweet vinegar dip was just lovely.

I’ll need to go for lunch next time to try their Pho and other noodle dishes.

Update: managed to have lunch there yesterday and had a very lovely rice noodles with pork rolls! Yum!

Best pho I’ve found so far in Glasgow! Generous portions, deep and flavourful broth. I recommend the rare beef pho and the prawn spring rolls! Heaven! I recommend the Vietnamese iced milk coffee and the iced tea to drink. The staff are so nice and friendly. You get served quick after ordering. 5 stars! Never disappoints.
