Love Mo Bettah’s. But you need to instruct your cooks how to keep from overly charring & burning the chicken/meats as this black charcoal from burning can cause cancer! Google it. I know some charring is inevitable, it’s a given, but this last time was way out of reason & safety! No other restaurant I frequent burns meats this terribly. Fix this issue & I’ll fix my review.

1 Ekoli plate and 3 regular plates. Mac salad was really good like always. Food was good for the most part, just some of the thicker pieces of chicken wasn’t cooked long enough for my liking. They ran out of bags which wasn’t a big deal, they also ran out of teriyaki sauce so the meat wasn’t as enjoyable especially the pulled pork. $64 for 4 plates is hard to swallow when Mo Bettas runs out of teriyaki. The food is generally pretty good. You pay extra for the teriyaki steak and they are super skimpy with it. Most of the employees aren’t very friendly, or welcoming. I hope to see improvement with these issues in the future, because we love the restaurant.

UPDATE (June 13 2025) : came in at 2:30 for my pickup the 3 guys were amazing and nice they always be making the most gas food like look at this picture i just posted. i would add another review but google lets me do this one and one only so thank you guys this was my second time and again enjoyed it. ‘my camera has no flash on too keep that in mind’ all three photos are from today.

Love the new vegetable side. They were great! The staff was fast and very helpful in getting us taken care of. Very impressed with your staff. My son who was with me even commented how fast we were taken care of in and out within 5 minutes.Great job Clinton Closing Staff 1/13/2026.

We are lucky to have your restaurant in Clinton and my family will eat there often. I can’t wait to get the chicken katsu which is what I always order.

I was their first customer of the day. I had to wait, but I figured I would have a wait before I went in. The lady who is new to this location was so kind and helpful. She kept apologizing for the wait and making sure she was ready for the lunch rush. I don’t know if this is her permanent location, but they would be lucky to have her. Everyone was working in there and seemed happy. I think that was my favorite part. Everyone was happy.

Love the teriyaki chicken, teriyaki steak, katsu chicken, and pulled pork. We like the brown rice and vegetables. “For the same price”. Instead of white rice and mac salad. It’s nice that they have different options, that are less heavy. They also have a salad which is nice.

We honestly DoorDash here often. However it has been getting worse and worse. Our food is stone cold by the time we get it and we live only 10 minutes away. Tonight we ordered and the Teri chicken was COMPLETELY RAW. My husband ate some of the chicken and feels sick now. I called the store and the girl on the phone was rude and kept interrupting me. Instead of sending me to the supervisor on shift like I asked she sent me to the person on grill himself. He was nice and respectful.

Our first time visiting a Mo Bettahs and it was so good. We had the kālua pig, teriyaki chicken, pūlehu chicjen, katsu chicken, and tried both the white and brown rice. My favorite turned out to be the pūlehu chicken and teriyaki chicken, followed by the kālua pig. Look close and you will see little signs telling you about the Hawaiian culture.
