This is an amazing place to have in Salisbury! The food is perfection and there are so many unique dishes that you don’t find at other Indian restaurants. I really enjoyed all of the food and drinks. I asked the waiters lots of questions about what was in certain dishes and they were happy to assist. Everyone was friendly and the decor is great too. Thoroughly recommend this place for a foodie night out! I had lunch for the next day sorted too with our leftovers! I also always love a place that serves dessert wine

We stopped here for a quick lunch. The lunch menu was 10,5 and offered great variety. The food was delicious, the service fast and friendly. Would visit again!

Fantastic experience, the food is amazing and certainly not your average curry. The lamb neck was great, meat super tender. A definite recommend.

Been coming here for years. Visited NYE. This is an amazing restaurant. There is a wide variety of dishes you do not see in other Indian restaurants. The lamb neck, apparently recommended by Madra Jaffri was superb. Oh the flavours! 4 of us all had different meals. My pal said the guinea fowl was good as was his prawn and scallop starter and my monkfish starter. Well worth a visit

My top 3 restaurants I’ve ever been to in the UK. Go here. The variety of the foods they give you, the flavors and themes they manage to incorporate in every dish, their spectacular service, and their lunch prices are honestly phenomenal. If you are anywhere near here during lunch time, you owe it to yourself to visit. They give you a mint at the end of your meal so don’t worry about garlic breath. Oh yeah, they know how to split a bill. It’s honestly insane.

Beautiful contemporary Indian food with the service and ambience to match.
I’ve been a few times now but last night’s meal was truly special. We made the trip all the way from Bournemouth as I think it’s totally worth it!
I opted for the prawns to start and the lambs neck curry for my main and both were absolutely delicious and full of flavour, I could have anything from the menu as it’s clear each dish has been carefully curated. The beautiful lamb in the curry just fell apart as soon as I touched it with my fork, it was cooked to perfection and very high quality. My fiancé had a korma and that was also delicious, very flavoursome and tender.
The service and ambience is also excellent, the staff are all over it and always accommodating and polite if not a little quick to take your plate after you’ve finished a course but that’s a very minor thing in an otherwise excellent experience!
If you want to go for an Indian but want something a bit more special and unique Anokaa is an absolute must!
Thank you for a memorable birthday meal!

I felt a bit under dressed coming here. Normally you don’t expect people get dressed up for a joint like this. The decor is quite nice, it is not considered very upscaled, but contemporary. I had some high expectations because the place was packed on a Friday night from 5 to 9. I was hoping for something more progressive, looking at the setup.
The drink selection is diverse, there are international and regional selections. The menu is huge, The coconut shrimp and the lamb kebab were just ok for me, same as everywhere else. I ordered Madhur Jaffery’s favorite, which is the slow cooked lamb neck. The lamb neck was very tender, the curry flavor was very intense, strong flavor, just a hint of spice, the pomegranate arils were a very nice touch, they really enhanced the curry taste and change your palette. I love it. But the saffron rice was very dry. The same for the white rice in my colleagues Curry Chicken, the curry flavor is quite standard, nothing special.
The service was OK, not extraordinary, I had to look for the wait staff and ask for things a few times.
I can’t say about the other dishes, but overall I think there are a few signature dishes but nothing I haven’t had before. Mostly everything else should be pretty normal. You are paying for the ambient and plating really. If I am in the area, I will come here again to try the other dishes. After all, Indian food in England is always a safe bet.

Best Indian restaurant ever. So good it’s worth the 52 mile round trip. The service food ambience and the gorgeous lamb neck curry is 100% worth it! The poppadoms and the sauces are delightful. The sharing starter platters are a family favourite especially the fish platter.

A refreshingly unique Indian dining experience. The dishes are crafted with exceptional care, combining delicate preparation with vibrant, flavourful presentation. Each bite bursts with colour and character. The staff are wonderfully attentive, friendly, and engaging, making you feel truly welcome. An unexpected highlight was the magician, whose performance was absolutely mind-blowing and added a delightful twist to the evening.
