I went to the Sbarro in Lakewood with someone, and it ended up being one of the most disappointing places I’ve visited in a long time. I expected something simple and enjoyable, but the whole place felt dull and lifeless from the moment I walked in. It didn’t have anything lively or exciting that teenagers or young adults would enjoy, and nothing about the atmosphere made me want to stay there longer than I had to.
The main reason I’m giving this a 1‑star review is the pizza. I really hate the taste of the pizza in general there. I tried to stay open‑minded, but every bite reminded me how much I wasn’t enjoying it. The flavor felt flat and strange, and it didn’t have that warm, satisfying feeling that pizza is supposed to have. It honestly surprised me how off‑putting it was, because I usually try to give a place a fair chance, especially when I’m visiting for the first time.
As I sat there, I realized there wasn’t anything fun or interesting to look at, nothing that made the place feel welcoming, and nothing that made the experience better. I appreciate when a place makes it easy to relax without feeling rushed, but here, I just wanted to leave. The whole visit didn’t turn out the way I hoped it would, and I never felt like it was going to improve.
I’ve only visited this Sbarro one time in my life before writing this review, and honestly, that one time was more than enough. It didn’t give me anything positive to hold onto, and the pizza, the main reason anyone goes there, was the biggest letdown.

I typically don’t write any reviews. But the attitude this girl had was unacceptable. Customers are not to be treated as if they are the cause of all their problems. Firstly, she didn’t greet us. It took her about 3 minutes for her to acknowledge us and say if we were ready. I didn’t answer because she was walking away towards the sink. She proceeded to ask again in an attitude and a rude tone while still giving her back. We then did answered and said yes we’re ready. But all through out she was handling our food bad. Not to mention she burned the bottom of the strombolis. We asked for cheese she said they ran out.. after eating i asked for a refill on our fountain drink and she wanted to charge $1.95 for a refill, I had always gone to sbarros in cerritos and never have gotten charge for a refill. Never coming back here again. This girl needs a new job that she actually likes. For reference we went around 8:30pm on 11/7. 2 girls were working, the taller one was the one that helped us.

I have been to other Sbarros and was not happy. My grandson was hungry and saw this place in the mall. He was excited to have pizza, so I agreed.
The pizza was very good. It is not artisan pizza so don’t expect that. It is more like Strawhat or any fast pizza place. It was served hot and as ordered.
The service was very nice. The place was very clean. You can eat there or take away. we were happy and will be back to this one.

In the location at Lakewood mall on Saturday 07/08/23 At 4:00pm they give me a cold slice of pizza which I paid. Nicely I request to the girl behind de desk to please warm up a bit and she say no . No happy with that when ask her to put it to go and say because I can eat it she not even apologize and only says ok,ok very challenge and rude . Me and my son were waiting till they opened again because we like this place, but I guess they are like that because they don’t own the business.

On Saturday 6/15/24 around 4:30pm No one was in line I stood there for 10 mintutes before someone asked if I needed help, I ordered the combo 1 slice & a soda took 20mins for the older lady to make it, a young guy finally came out boxed my 1 slice of pizza an filled my drink as I was checking out the older lady took another customer right in front of me as the guy literally ringing me up, even the customer was like no he was here first but the lady insisted I move to the side as I was seconds away from pulling my credit card out to pay for my order, the young guy apologized to me because he recognized how rude his co worker was being, I was shocked I’ve never in my life been treated so poorly so for 1 slice of pizza and a drink took me 30mins honestly should’ve just walked out at that point but I had already wasted 30mins and I wanted pizza, I will never goto this location again or recommended this place to any of my friends or family members the lady needs to learn how to treat customers and I didn’t say anything I should have asked for her manager information.
