Finally tried Malai and I’ll certainly return. Comfortable bar seating, friendly service, tasty beer from India, and the Chicken Tikka was the best version of the dish I’ve tasted. It’s presented on a cast iron plater like fajitas and the extended cooking time on the veggies yields a delicious char. Spice level was spot on (I ordered hot) and the garlic naan was a perfect side dish. Highly recommended.

This food was delicious. 10/10. Just so good. I ordered take-out. The service allows you to choose your heat level. I ordered the Vindaloo hot and it was perfect – nose running, sucking air to cool your mouth, beads of sweat, etc. I ordered the Madras medium and it, understandably was considerably less hot. Both dishes were just perfect. Naan was great.The staff were very friendly and the Restaurant was beautiful inside. Dining in there would be a treat. Thanks guys!

The food is amazing! We ordered the coconut chicken and the lamb madras. It was difficult to decide which was better. The garlic naan tasted delicious. To help us finish off our wine, we ordered ras malai. We will definitely be back. It’s a great place to go casual or dressed up. It made for an awesome date night.

We are so excited to have a truly great Indian restaurant back in St Pete! They are consistent in the flavors and the amount of heat we want. I love mild but full of flavor and my husband on the other hand loves it super spicy and flavorful…. Perfect every time! And the garlic naan is the best! We ask for it to be extra crispy.
