So sad they closed their doors. Had our last meal Tuesday 7/30 and as always the food was amazing! Had the eggplant parmesan, stuffed mushrooms, with a side salad and the raspberry vinaigrette (yum!) Best wishes to Raphael on his retirement.

I’ve driven past this place hundreds of times and never once gave it a thought. On the suggestion of my coworkers I brought my wife here for dinner. We tried the stuffed peppers appetizer which was actually spicy, something other restaurants have been missing. I got the baked ziti and she got linguine with clams. The food was absolutely amazing and portions were more than enough. We can’t wait to come back, once we finish our leftovers of course.

My husband and I drove 80 minutes and we were so happy we did! Easily the best food we have had out. Everything was very delicious and seasoned to perfection. The staff was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner. The chef made us a small cake to celebrate.We will be back! Blessings to the chef and his establishment.

Food was amazing! Everything homemade from scratch from the bread , soup, pasta and meatballs. Probably the best meatball I’ve ever had. The chef/owner stopped by every table as well. Not sure why there’s not a line out the door. Great prices as well. Stop in and try it for yourself.

My wife and I stumbled upon this total gem in hamburg. The staff were so friendly and committed to detail. The restaurant atmosphere is warm and inviting. As for the food. Top notch! Everything was excellent from the hot bread and dipping oil,the home made cranberry salad dressing our main courses were superb! We will be going back!

I’ve been meaning to try this place since moving to the area 3 years ago and hearing rave reviews. I ordered takeout tonight and I have no idea how anyone could willingly eat there, because I wouldn’t if I was paid to. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the chicken was white like it was boiled. Not a lick of flavor to it. There wasn’t enough Alfredo to even cover the noodles. The soup that comes with it was enough to fill about a half inch of a pint container. Literally the only good thing I have to say about this place is that the food was hot. I’d give zero stars if I could.

Have enjoyed Raphael’s a few times now and we’ll be back again soon. Food is fantastic, service is very personal and the restaurant itself is very comfortable. Place is a little bit of a throwback. There’s no feeling of, they’re just turning tables. Settle in, have a great meal and enjoy a bottle of reasonably priced Italian wine. As good a dish of EGGPLANT PARM as you’ll find anywhere, in any city. The chef is the owner and will often visit you at your table. Big fan.

The chef/ owner really know how to make you feel like family. The red sauce is out of this world with its rich dark color, you can taste the fresh tomato with a bite of olive oil.
The servers are beyond friendly and helpful. Again when you come here you are family.
