We celebrated my grandfathers birthday at this restaurant and everything was amazing! The food was delicious and the owners were super friendly and accommodating. I truly recommend this restaurant for your next dinner/ family gathering. It truly feels like you are at home while at this restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

Nothing like a well prepared traditional Coffee ! Reminded me of my Grandmas style coffee prep! The entree Was very flavorful! Also I just came this past Tuesday and they started a taco night and it was all you can eat! I will be back with friends soon for more birria tacos! Thank you to the entire staff

On my way to another restaurant in Ridgefield Park, NJ, I saw Mama Lupe’s Latin Cuisine and decided to go there instead for dinner. I was told they had a very busy day. So they didn’t have many food options when I visited. However, I ended up having shrimp in garlic sauce and fried plantains with tamarind juice. It was very tasty. Since the food items are sold as small plates, everything collectively is priced higher than it normally costs.

I discovered Mama Lupe Latin Cuisine during a long bike ride when my phone was dying. It turned out to be a fantastic find! The food was amazing—I had the seafood soup and empanadas, which were the best I’ve ever had. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!

Unassuming corner restaurant with about 7-8 tables.
Morir Soñando was so sweet, you can crunch on the sugar crystals…
Chinola was good, little tart not to sweet, a little pulp to let you know it’s not from concentrate.
Chicharron were nice and crispy.
Asopao was delicious! I’m coming back for more 😀
Mofongo was ok, the Pernil was good!
All in all it was good food and service was good.

THIS IS NOT A MEXICAN RESTAURANT. I went there because it says it’s a mexican restaurant. Even though it was not I was willing to try the food on the menu. But it took him 45 minutes to bring a chicken sandwich and the chicken sandwich didn’t had any bread it was just a piece of fried chicken with rice. And during the lunch time on a holiday not even one person came in. Probably not their best day.

We were here on a Sunday night, probably not their busiest night. There was a little stage and musical instruments suggesting this place has a band on other nights which are probably livelier. Several of the menu items weren’t available (maduros, desserts). We had the mofongo, which was a little dry. Again, probably not their best night. The service was great (it’s BYOB) and the atmosphere was casual and very neighborhood place (the owner and friends sat at the next table, another family at another, everyone spoke in Spanish, we got to practice ours).
