This place is really solid! We didn’t love everything we got, but we know what to get when we come back. The portion sizes were great for the price. Staff didn’t interact with us at all and we heard a couple swear words from them, but no problems with them otherwise. Very limited seating as well. I love Hawaiian food though and was happy with what I got so I’ll be coming back.

Got the Dragon Bowl with spicy garlic green beans, Asian slaw, edamame and Hawaiian mac. The green beans are seasoned real well and the Sriracha mayo has a good kick to it without being overly spicy. When I checked my order they forgot the Hawaiian mac, but they gave it to me on the side which worked out better anyway. Only thing I would of liked was there to be some type of rice vinegar or seasoning on the white rice, but overall it was a healthy, convenient lunch option. Place is quite small on the inside with only 10 seats so if you come during a rush there will likely be no seats available and will have to take it to go or sit outside.

My my my! Best marinated tender beef I’ve had in a long time! Generous portions, perfect rice, fresh green beans with delicious teriyaki sauce! The owner is super accommodating and friendly and I can say the same for his staff! Clean and a must try at 5th Street Station. You will not be disappointed!

Had a doordash order with 4 spam musubis about 2 weeks ago. The musubi’s were not delivered and I received a small sticky note on the box saying that they were out of stock and I would be refunded. I was never refunded and have now been defrauded out of ~$16

Edit: thank you for reaching out Mochiko, you have been much more helpful and professional than Doordash who has continued to deny the refund

I went specifically to get a poke bowl. There aren’t a ton of options but I ordered the crunchy tuna poke bowl. When you enter the employees are very busy making orders so there’s an iPad to self order. The poke bowl came out quickly with little wait. Seating is limited but there are tables outside. Very simple ingredients but everything was fresh and the bowl was filling despite the size. Would recommend for a no-nonsense simple poke bowl.

Ordered to go, some indoor and outdoor seating. Nice location with ample parking. We enjoyed the beef teriyaki with brown rice and cucumbers. Also had the Hawaiian macaroni salad-yum!

It was ok. We ate outside due to extremely limited seating, but it was a beautiful day to sit in “The Yard”. BTW there’s no bathrooms.

I had the crunchy tuna poke ($11) and my husband had Hawaiian BBQ with cucumber kimchi. Meals were good, not amazing, but it was a nice change and healthier than fast food. Except it wasn’t fast, took 15 minutes, but we weren’t in a rush.

It’s in a good location. Relatively off the highway (65) if you a traveling. Other restaurants and shopping nearby.

Ordered the Mochiko chicken based off the reviews. Disgusting! The rice was oily and no flavor. The sauce was straight mayo with a hint of orange coloring. And for $10 it was so small. No thank you.

I came on a Friday for lunch, around 2pm. I got a spam masubi, and bbq chicken with rice, kimchi cucumber, and Mac salad. The spam masubi was okay. It was really cold. I was expecting it to be more room temp, but the rice and the spam were actually cold. I prefer it on the warmer side, but it wasn’t horrible. The bbq chicken was delish! Great flavor. I wasn’t a fan of the kimchi cucumber. The cucumber was soggy, didn’t taste fresh and had almost that translucent color to it. Not a fan, and won’t order again. The star of the show (in my opinion) was the mac salad. It was so creamy, and went so well with the bbq chicken. I would go back again, maybe during a more busy time when the food is on the fresher side.

Loco Moco special – burger over rice with an over easy egg on top. It was pretty good, but would choose something different next time. The chicken curry bowl with rice was delicious!!! The curry sauce was so flavor full. Then we ordered 2 of the spam/rice cakes wrapped in seaweed. They were so good!! Highly recommend this place!
