The food is well worth the visit. Some unique entree choices, but the menu is nicely simple. The only out of place item is the gyro, which is still good.
Service is okay, fairly average for a bar and grill. But even when slammed the staff can be quite sociable.
The atmosphere has improved greatly over the years, used to be kind of grungy, but has actually become fairly nice.

Have gone to the great escape for a while now. Since reopen after their fire the inside looks amazing. However service has slipped significantly. Tonight went in for fish fry, waited 30 mins without anyone checking on us, no drinks, or greeting. I eventually went up to the bar to ask for a menu, ultimately my wife and I decided after I got back to the table to just go elsewhere as we didn’t feel confident in the service tonight.

We hosted my mom‘s 90th birthday party here. I cannot say enough about how welcoming and accommodating Richie and his staff were to my family. The prices were very reasonable and the service was stellar. Can’t wait to visit again when I come to Menomonie.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! It doesn’t look like much on the outside, but it has recently been remodeled inside and has a somewhat stark, but clean feeling to it. Pool and darts are available. Food was fast and awesome!
