Sweet spot in the New OV, this place will be my new go-to spot when I’m in the neighborhood. Spicy Tuna bowl was killer and wife liked the ahi appetizer and the yum-yum shrimp. Will definitely come back again soon.

I don’t know the names of the two ladies that helped me today but they were awesome! Explained everything to me and even told me about some other local attractions. I got a custom poke bowl which was so good and filling and a spicy spam masubi which was pretty good as well. I’ll definitely be back with my friends and family!

We ordered 4 different poke bowls for take away. So delicious! My two teenagers ordered make-your-own bowls and were able to pick the exact protein, vegetables and rice that they wanted with a sauce on the side. I had a shrimp bowl and my husband had Ahi Tuna bowl. Beyond pleased with the selection, seafood options, value, service and taste! Highly recommend.

Delicious, cute vibes place! Very quick to get our food. I got the Teriyaki bowl and switched the Spam for raw ahi tuna. It was great and lots of different flavors in the bowl.

Excellent fresh, made to order poke bowls. They have other Hawaiian items but I only like poke. The large bowls have three scoops of fresh salmon, tuna, or spicy tuna. You can have over fresh salad greens or brown or white rice. I’m very picky about raw fish and this was excellent. Very nice people serving. Very casual – more of a take out place. Will be back!

We were so excited to see a new poke place coming to East Beach/Ocean View. Unfortunately, both of our bowls just didn’t quite meet our standards. The same ingredients at Poketastic in Chesapeake (and the one by the outlets) taste superior, and for an overall lower price. The bowls were good, just not great; and definitely overpriced for the portion size compared to their competition. $4 for a small cup of watered-down iced matcha? I get paying off your overhead; but maybe tone it down a little.
The staff definitely isn’t fully comfortable with their assortment/menu yet. They seemed unsure/uncomfortable about what they were asking each guest (not just us.) I’m sure that will improve with time; so I’m not going to knock them for that. They were very nice and apologetic for the wait.
I wanted this place to be great; they just have room for improvement before they get there. It may sound like I am bashing this restaurant; but it’s not like that. This restaurant is really good; it just wouldn’t be my first go-to when the carving strikes, it yet at least. I look forward to giving them another shot down the road. Maybe they’ll change my mind.
