I’m stingy with my 5 stars but Crave really deserves it.
I made reservations at 7pm and we were seated shortly there after. The booth was very comfortable for two.
The vibe was fun and energetic. It was upscale without being pretentious.
Our server Alyssa was so very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu which I really appreciated. She recommended the sourdough focaccia and ahi poke for appetizers and they did not disappoint! For our entrees we ordered the filet. We ordered it medium but it came out medium rare but I didn’t mind. Butter soft. The Thai cod was very flavorful; the heat was perfect, not overbearing.
The cocktails were some of the best we have tasted. We ordered the bourbon drink and the psyche. Wow! No wonder the bartender won a prestigious award.
The cost for two starters, 4 cocktails and 2 entrees was rather hefty but worth the money IMHO… our celebration was perfect… so thanks, Crave!

My family and I celebrated my sister’s birthday at Crave and upon entry we met the owners & our waitress Taja (I hope I spelled her name correctly) these women exudes poise and hospitality! And the meals! Everything tasted great! I had the Psyche cocktail (award winner) & the Salmon entree served with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. 10/10 highly recommend. THANKS AGAIN LADIES!

Unpretentious fine dining with crazy good food and drinks. What’s not to love? I’m not a local, just passing through, but this spot is so good I’m 100% coming back tomorrow.
The best way to describe Crave is intentional. They are intentional in their choices, from ingredients to presentation.
Got their Duck Breast with the truffle risotto. Just a perfect mixture of sweet, savory and a great balance of textures.
Cocktail was solid as well. Ava deserves her accolades for sure.

One of the best experiences. Even on a busy Friday night our waitress Jess was attentive, friendly and all around wonderful. We celebrated our 11 year anniversary and were offered such a lovely experience. Will definitely be back.

A new favorite for us in Rockford!
Over the last few months, we had driven by the place and also said we need to try it and Saturday it happened. Because of of restaurant week the place was crowded but I take that as a good sign. It gave us a chance to meet with Angela and her daughter Eva who were both working hard. Eva was giving out free drink samples to those waiting for a table. We had reservations but did not mind waiting. I don’t drink but my girlfriend tried the “El Sanch” cocktail and proclaimed it as her new local favorite. The appetizers and entrees where excellent. We had the: Truffle fries, Sourdough Focaccia, Wagyu burger, champagne risotto, Arugula salad, and the Death of Chocolate cake to end a great meal with great service. Our waitress, Kaitlyn was terrific. Both Angela and Eva were great hosts and made us feel welcome as new diners to Crave. We plan on going back regularly.

Had an early birthday dinner here last week with my group of loud, lovable hooligans (aka friends). We came in hot — loud jokes, big laughs, and absolutely no indoor voices. The service started a little slow, but honestly, we were too busy cracking up to care.
Then we met Alyssa, our server — and wow. Funny, sharp, and somehow not phased at all by our chaos. She rolled with every joke, every weird drink order, and every “birthday girl” moment like a total pro. Can we clone her?
The food was amazing, but it’s the service that really made the night. Alyssa was the MVP. Oh — and they brought me a free dessert and a birthday card signed by the staff. I almost cried (but then remembered I was trying to look cool in front of my friends).
Highly recommend this place. 10/10. Ask for Alyssa — and tip her well, y’all. She earned it.

Amazing dining experience!! Lucky to have this gem in our local area. Not only were the food and drinks delicious and unique. But what stood out most was the experience and hospitality! Ava herself served our first drinks. She talked with us multiple times throughout our time there. Her smile and personality are one of a kind. Would recommend just based on the staff. Our waitress was also wonderful and so personable! And hearing that she had been there since they opened a year and half ago says something about the ownership! There is so much turnover in the industry normally. Well done by Angela and Ava! We will be back! And beautiful decor and atmosphere too!!
