Enjoyed dinner with a large group (10 people) with our server Sergio. He was extremely attentive and offered friendly service. He recommended the catch of the day and the shrimp fettuccine, both of which were a hit. Burger was delicious and cocktails were made perfectly. Will definitely return

Zicatela is my favorite restaurant in Punta Mita. The food is terrific as is the service. We liked it so much, we went there twice during our week in Punta Mita.
Regarding the food, everything was delicious. The cocktails were great and I especially like the Agave-Rosso!
The seating is all great and in the being there are nice sunsets that are easily viewed by both the indoor and beach seating. As a tip, I’d suggest not picking a table directly next to the beach. Although these seats have great unobstructed ocean views, there’s usually people walking along the beach trying to sell you stuff.
Again, Zicatela is an amazing restaurant and if I ever visit Punta Mita again, I’ll be sure to go back to Zicatela.

We had an outstanding experience at Zicatela, and from our perspective it’s one of the best restaurants in Punta de Mita. The team was exemplary in accommodating a nut allergy, proactively checking at arrival and at the table, with clear menu guidance throughout.
The food delivers a thoughtful, well-executed take on regional Mexican cuisine. The shrimp gordita is a must, and several tacos at our table were met with unanimous praise. A pasta dish ordered by one guest was also very good — a nice option if you’re looking for something outside traditional Mexican fare. A beautifully crafted habanero sauce added depth and heat without overpowering the dish.
The ambiance is refined yet relaxed, and the menu variety makes it equally well suited for couples, families, and groups, with options that appeal to a wide range of palates and ages. A memorable birthday dessert with a celebratory firework capped off a fantastic evening.
Attentive service, nuanced flavors, and a strong sense of place — an easy 5/5.

We stayed at the Conrad Hilton and took Ubers to Punta de Mita for dinners. We enjoyed this restaurant very much. Everything was great from the food to the ambience and the service. We had Catch of the day, which was Mahi Mahi tostadas, tortilla soup with shrimp, and short rib birria in an amazing sauce. The menu is very creative and delicious. Make a reservation and check it out you won’t be disappointed. .

Food was excellent. We have been coming to Punta Anita for years, did not make it last year and Zicatela hadn’t opened yet by our last visit. This was our first time visiting and it is by far my new favorite restaurant in town. We loved every bite, it has a diverse and unique menu, the service was excellent, and it had a good vibe.
